me too but if i dare comment about it i get told im bullying these children.when i was a kid i would get told off for being silly and rude to adults.end of.doesnt seem to b the case anymore

Yeah there is no respect towards the grown ups on the sight too. I even saw a picture yesterday, and some kid commented "Your lips are disgusting" I mean really??? How rude???

I pretty much gave up on BL when it turned into Degrassi Junior High. If I wanted to discuss beauty and lifestyle with 11 and 12 year-olds I'd go hang out at a day care.

Where are these kids parents? How are they accessing this site, why don't they have supervision, and why do they talk like a bunch of wildling heathens? If I was half as insolent and disrespectful as they are, my parents would've sent me out to pick a switch! Heavens to Betsy, can I get a translator for all of the "halp meeh am i prettay xoxo i typ lyk i m stoopid" posts as well?

I emailed them like 2 weeks ago and nothing. I wonder if they even care. I joined to get advice on beauty and get beauty tips. Most of the stuff on here is really getting out of hand and I hope something is done soon.

I really do try to sift through the 6 or 7 pages of irrelevant posts everyday to try and help the people who ask sincere questions, but it is exhausting! It seems like new users who ask good questions don't get the proper answers they deserve or they don't show back up to check their threads since its SO overwhelming to sift through the nonsense posts. I feel bad because this was a great place for advice and really interesting posts full of information when I first came on here and none of the newer users got to see that! Everyone was really polite and helpful and were more than happy to help with anything and everything, but now I hardly see any of these people posting anymore =( Its such a shame!

I know for a fact in the short time I've been here so far two people I really enjoyed advice from have left the site because of the nonsense that goes on here. It makes me very sad and even a little angry because they are the ones who SHOULD be here because they were kind and full of great advice.

I completely agree with Emily's post about where the hell are these kids' parents? I had the internet when I was a kid, yes. But it was dial-up and the only sites I went on was Neopets and the Harry Potter site to play games!! I loved makeup then too but I wasn't online asking people to rate my attractiveness and the extent of my collection was Mary-Kate and Ashley lipgloss and eyeshadow. In a way I feel horrible for these kids because obviously something is very wrong with the world if they're asking questions like that at such young ages. But another part of me is just fed up. I try to use this site as a professional tool so I'm staying up to date and knowledgeable about things but the ridiculous posts whether its the "am I pretty?" or the relentless repeats like "naked 1 or naked 2?" make it so, so difficult to do so!

And I get so angry when I see 9 year olds mouthing off to people twice their age. Calling people ugly and then telling everyone else to go eff themselves when people tell them they're being rude. I've also noticed that some of them then get back on and blame it on their "friend" or their "cousin" taking their phone. Really? These are the childish things we all have to endure on here now?
Beautylish just must not give a damn because they can retweet people on Twitter who have mentioned the site but seem must scroll right on past any of the complaints tweeted at them.

I completely agree though. This website is filled with completely unproductive children. Not all are bad, but a lot are. I think all of us should try to change it though.

I agree with you guys! Today, I basically saw most of the posts 'How do I impress? Help!!' and 'Am I pretty?' I'm only 17, but I joined this site mainly because I wanted to learn new techniques or get opinions on new products. I get that some of the users are young, but that doesn't mean they can just post a bunch of pictures of themselves and ask if they're pretty or if they're makeup is good then get really upset when people give them constructive criticism. I would only post a makeup look if I truly wanted everyone's opinion, if not, I have no business posting pictures of myself on a site where people come to for advice!
