What is a cute tattoo a guy would enjoy finding his girl has? I want one that he would eventually find because of summer coming up with bathing suits. And i would like it to be sexy and look sophisticated and not bad.

Well to give you ideas, I have one on my lower back, my hip and my foot. All are hidden to eyes unless I'm wearing a bathing suit etc. so they won't interfere with my professional life :) I want some more!!

i have one on my foot, i know it doesnt sound like the kind of place your describing but someone did once tell me it was sexy:s haha:-)

If you want a tattoo that shows in your bathing suit, maybe consider a henna tattoo in the summer weather. Since you just want a tattoo because its sexy and not because it has any meaning, something temporary is definitely a better option for you unless you want to endure expensive and painful lazer removal later.

Wow. Well this is just about the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
I'm a tattoo girl. Like a serious tattoo girl that is on a first name basis with several artists at a local parlor. This kind of illogical guy-oriented thinking is exactly what resulted in a rash of tribal lower back tattoos and kanji than translates into "chicken liver". Now it's just called a tramp stamp...or if you're German, "butt antlers."
How flattering.
Getting a "cute" tattoo that a "guy can find" is not sexy or sophisticated...it's idiotic, and any guy that isn't equally vapid would think so. I dunno. Maybe vapid guys are your thing. In that case, just get it over with and plaster a butterfly on your buttcheek.

I just got my first tattoo and I love it

Well I say think it over, you'll have it forever, even when you're old. A henna might be a better idea (: that's just my opinion on it though! (: I don't see why everyone needs a negative comment on what they write, but just brush it off ^.^

LOL the nicer I try to be, the worse it sounds. I'm a jerk, yes...but a jerk that is right a lot. If I have to roll Tabatha Coffey style, so be it.

I mean I agree with you probably 1,000% lol but I just have a thing with like the way people say things I guess, maybe that's just me. Sorry ._. Lol

MY BAD for wanting my guy to go "oh wow you have a tattoo audrey, thats kind of sexy, i would have never expected that". i think it would be fun because no one in a million years would think i would have a tattoo because im a "good girl" as they call me :p i wanted to surprise him and make him laugh/be the only one that will ever see it because he is special to me. I would get one that had meaning to me. like my fav flower is a daisy, etcetera. i just wondered what everyone would say. im not a tramp, i wouldnt get one that would look that way. id get an innocent tattoo, very very very small. I wouldnt put it somewhere stupid like my ass stephanie d or should i say tabatha coffey, whoever the hell that is. but thatnks everyone for putting your input, it helped. i was also looking for like "get a flower, a quote, this weird design, your religion symbol, etc,. but thanks!

Getting a tat does not increase your badass factor. It's not like putting in pink clip extension into your hair to be cool. Really. Yep, it's your bad, but lucky for you you haven't actually done it yet and suffered through 50 years of regret and awkward explanations.
Getting a tattoo is painful, and permanent, and what you SHOULD do if you really want one is get a CONSULTATION from a REAL ARTIST and not just walk into a flash-art parlor and pick something out of a book because it's "cute" or browse google and copy someone's work.
Respect the art. It's not a fashion statement.

Oh yeah? then what is a tattoo for Sherlock? I'm pretty sure people get tattoos for all sorts of reasons. I'm not 10 freakin years old, i have a BRAIN in my head, i know they're painful. i wouldn't get one i regretted and i would not walk in a store with my eyes crossed and ask in a dumb little voice "wha tattoo shud i gettt?" You know you sound like you know alot but you really don't, its all just your opinions, not facts. Go away, don't comment on anything of mine again because i don't want to know what you have to say. freaking rude as hell is what you are. I'm more respectful than you could ever be. Especially when it comes to P-E-O-P-L-E. Do you understand that word? It's people! Respect people and then maybe some of them including me would like you!

You should never, EVER get a tattoo, or any sort of body modification based on what you think other people want to see. Ever. Seriously.
Tattoos are supposed to be meaningful. Even if it's silly to other people, it has to mean something to you. Hell, I have a giant chest piece, and I JUST got done with my session getting a portrait of Boris Carloff (Classic Frankenstein) on my arm.
Tattoos are not for guys to 'find'. They're not supposed to be 'cute for a guy', and they will not increase your chance of 'getting a guy', or whatever it is you're even trying to say with this ridiculous topic. Even posting a thread 'What tattoo should I get?" Is just stupid. It's not for other people to decide what goes on YOUR body. You will regret it. I can guarantee that.

thats what this app is for. tips. i agree that i would eventually be the one deciding what i got. not anyone else. my tattoo will be found, it will be cute, and it will mean something to me.

if she wants a tattoo, she wants a tattoo. these days its just body art. and if its something small and you can cover up i dont see the problem. to me it doesnt sound like your one of these girls thats going to go and spoil your body by getting head to toe covered in scribbles aha. only thing i would suggest is dont make it all about this guy cos lets face it most guys turn out to be dicks-.- and you dont want the meaning to be him! ahh

Maybe get a small one on your hip? Find a cute symbol that means something to you (a word, date, insignia)
Having one on your shoulder blade or behind your ear would be cool:) I want to get the words "Let it be beautiful" on my shoulder blade. There is a meaning behind it:)

The purpose of tattoos is art, not fashion. I don't see why this is difficult.
Speaking of respect, I respect people's creative work, I respect their profession, and I respect THEIR opinions on fads, poor choices, and their frustration with the way customers treat them and their jobs.

unfortunately, it seems like the sake of art is a lost cause in this case =(

You know what Natalie? You're probably right...and it's the reason why scratchers not only exist, but actually make money. I have a handful of friends that are tattoo artists and their custom work is so, so beautiful, but they hardly ever get to do that kind of work because most of their clients are just looking to pick some flash art out of the book (people who have an actual affinity to vintage flash art or specialize in it are something different altogether, but I'm sure you see what I'm trying to say).

Dont get a tattoo for a guy. You get one for yourself. Something that means something to you :0)

Golly, I hear ya Stephanie. Its such a shame. I know many tattoo artists who would swear off certain requests if it wasn't what paid the bills. Yeah, its actually pretty hard to find a tattooed person with wonderful or interesting tattoos, so I guess this kind of mentality is not so rare =/ How disappointing.

I have my own initials on my lower back. I love them.
