I have started washing my face every evening with a face wash and then moisturizing, could using the face wash every day be bad for my skin?

Okay! Sorry can't remembered brand! Its just like a cleansing face wash but should I use every other day? :-)

Actually, you should really wash your face twice a day. Let me put it this way: if you took a swab from your face and from your butt cheek and analyzed both under a microscope...your face would be dirtier. At night you sweat and the oils from your hair get on your pillow and then on your face. During the day you have makeup and you touch your face and accumulate whatever happens to be floating around in the air.

If you're worried about irritating your skin, just use a gentle cleanser. There are lots of them out there. Even plain water and a wash cloth will do.

You really want to wash your face twice a day, morning and evening. The moisturizer should help to not dry out your skin!

A great face soap that actually improves your skin is DHC mild soap or olive soap. This stuff is amazing, really cleans but doesn't dry the skin out at all.

cleanse tone and moisturise morning and night. always use a high quality spf every day even when its cloudy or your inside! clinique city block is great and safe for eyes :)

a lot of people are saying wash twice.. but personally i can only wash once cause it keeps my skin healthy haha so if you try twice and your skin starts turning for the worse go back to only once haha

Twice is the only way to go. When you wake up it cleanses all the residue from your sleep and at night all the things that have touched your face, make up, pollution, your hands etc.
