Beauty Product Reviews

Not bad for a first try!

I have had frizzy hair since i always indulge in changing my mane colour!haha

so most of the time i try to go for sulphate free shampoos, but most made my hair even dry! I came across this product along with its shampoo and conditioner...and well since its LOREAL...a well reputed brand...i thought i would give it a try.

Of course i read reviews about it before purchasing. I must say, the smell is incredible! and in one wash i can see my hair looks softer...despite the slight frizz it actually was better then before! I guess i would continue to use tis product to see how it goes in long run!

Love the lasting smoothness it give to the skin!

When i bought this product from a drug store..i was hoping that it wld be better den all other hair remover cremes i have tried!! I always had issues with skin irritation, hair not properly removed!! so i was hoping this would be my answer to a gd hair remover creme..and it has proven itself!!! its easy to use...doesnt smell as bad as others i have tried....and their hair literally comes away as u wipe!! Its worth the money do try it :D

Nice but tooo pricey!!

I bought this product at Sephora. Actually i was so undecided about which primer to get as nearly all primers were S$40 and above!!!!! that is except for the house brand Sephora(but i felt that their oil free version of their primer was kinda oily!but then it was only S$20)..so after looking around a sales guy sold me this product with his impressive demo!!hehe... i have been using this product for a few weeks now but not daily though... the application is smooth and it does cover up my pores(though they are not tat big) and i noticed my skin still somehow became oily again after an hr..and given singapore's really hot weather..its always advisable to use waterproof makeup!! but i must say a little product is enough to do the job...but i might not want to buy this product again only because of the price!!!!lets see if this product has a lasting effect on me....shall finish up this tube and review again!! :D

I remember buying this product in a bronze shade...it was a fantastic!! would have loved to try all the other colours available but sadly singapore dont carry this collection anymore :(

the formula is very nice n like wat the product discription says..it glides on really smoothly and blends well as well..maybe if i go abroad i guess i wld try to get some colours from this dream mousse range!!

Total Disappointment

After watching all the great stuffs about covergirl on America's Next Top Model i soo wanted to try their stuffs..but since it was not available in singapore i had to get my frends living abroad to buy n send it to me!!!

one such product i got from abroad is the CG outlast double lip shine..cant really recall the colour name but it was kind brownish...was expecting alot from it..but when i tried it on!!uugghhh..the colour portion was ok...but it made my lips look damm dry n cracked!!! and the gloss part...too oily for my liking...i feel like it creates an oily film on my lips...very uncomfortable!! but i am looking forward to try other lip products from covergirl in the future!:)

I had a friend buy it for me from DC...though i am more into neutrals and darker shades of colours..i got excited upon seeing the colours throught the packaging. but i was sooner disappointed!! the blue and green was vibrant!!really nice colours but the shadow itself not so pigmentated so gotta keep packing it on for a better colour pay off. Then the orage and yellowish gold!! the orage is reallly nice..but the yellowish gold was sucha disappointment.....it was tooo light. On a whole i found the colours kinda dry....

Its not tooo bad..

Having tried the LashBlast Volume mascara i tot i would give this a go...my godaunt got it for me from perth..(coz covergirl is discontinued in singapore)!! i had wanted the waterproof one but she accidentally got me the non waterproof one, still it wasnt tat bad. i have the one im brown black, so its very natural looking doesnt really clumps..so its ok :D

Though i have tons of eyeshadow quarts n duos this palatte is by far my most sought after one!!...its fantastic especially when i do makeup for others i dont really need to carry much stuffs!! The colours are incredible!!and its worth the money as well...my fave blusher comes from this palatte its the peachy one!!even the pinkish one is really nice :D the mix or shimmer and pearl finish shadows are just wonderful and so easy to blend out.. looking forward to do more looks with this palatte..have already done lotsa looks with the palette but still theres room to explore more looks!!!

if you love warm colours...this is the palette for you! :D

This product was the first eyeshadow base I bought from an asain brand and seriously it's affordable and long lasting. But be careful not to apply too much as it may cause creasing just like any other products. But it's an affordable product if you are new to eyeshadow primers. A nice product to build your confidence with shadow application and blending.

I have always wanted the classic red matte lipstick but the trend was all about shine and gloss..thanks god for the return of matte colours!but than again it was only available in the more higher end brands, what a relieve it was when revlon released the matte collection..the first colour that I bought was of course really red!it's a really pretty colour!(you can check out my pics in my profile for a look I did with my really red lipcolour) another colour which I love is cocoa craving very mild brown but very pretty as well.
