I really love this primer. I received a sample of this and I'm so please I'll be purchasing it soon. It's very light and silky. It has a slight tint to it and boy does it a number on my pores. I'm an older woman with visible lines and pores and it took care of both. It has a very light but nice scent. At first i thought it was too silky right after I applied it. But it dries to a very nice matte finish, perfect for your makeup application. I'd give it a try as I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Could Be Improved
This product is okay but I don’t think it’s really for me. I’ve gotten samples of this many times but it just never really worked for me. It clogged my pores too much (which really is what it’s supposed to do), and my makeup looked pretty good, but it also felt a little drying and almost chalky to me. It works for others, but not for me.
It Really Works!
I'v purchased so many primers that were hyped up & none did anything for me, so when I heard about this one I didn't even think of trying it, Thank God Beautylish sent me a sample & it actually works, I am so excited pores & fine lines are really blurred, so yes it is worth the hype!
Love this product, the feel on my skin was so smooth. It feels like butter. It really does fill in those fine lines and shrink those pores. My foundation went on flawlessly. One of the best features of this primer is if you get a little oily later in the day, you can actually use this over your foundation to smooth out the problem areas and matte out the shine. You can even add a little powder over it to re-set your foundation without getting all that extra oil on your sponge that mixes in with the powder to create a cakey mess. The price is more in my affordability price range but it is a great product regardless of the price.
I have tried a lot of primers but by far love this one the most. My makeup looks fresh longer through out the day and the feel of the product on my face feels so nice. I really like using it throughout the day if I look kind of shiny to mat my makeup down a bit, especially my forehead. GREAT PRODUCT!!!
I didn't want to...but I do, I really do.
For the longest time I told myself I wouldn't like this product. It's $32 for less than a fluid ounce where you can find another pore-centric primer for about the same price with more product (I'm looking at you Too Faced Primed and Poreless). I also didn't find the product very pore minimizing compared to the Primed and Poreless anyway. But after year of accumulating Porefessional samples, I decanted the tubes into a jar and tried to get rid of it. If I didn't like it, I could toss it out. But what ended up happening was that I ended up liking the primer for controlling my oil! Compared to the multitudes of primers I used, this one controlled my shininess the best. If I did get oily, I was dewy, and for an oily skin gal, that sight is rare to see so when you're dewy, you notice. After my sample jars emptied, I switched to another but it didn't compare. My mind was already made up, I needed the Porefessional. I still think the price and the amount don't match, but the product itself is great. As I said earlier, I didn't want to...but I do, I really do like this primer.
