Beauty Product Reviews

I personally LOVE Revlon creme eye shadows. I the Illuminance Creme Shadow and have a earlier rendition of the creme shadow palette as well. They both have a golden bronzy kind of "theme" to them except the earlier version's colors are deeper. The thing I loved about the Illuminance is there was more of a color range. Of course, there is the light bronze/gold and the true golden yellow. But they also included black and a plum-rose bronze color. These all have shimmer to them. I love these because they are great to use as bases for your shadows; it really brings out the true color. You can either really pack it on to have a very effective base or not, no worries the product blends perfectly. Although, when you blend it the color is quite sheer, it doesn't have the most pigmentation. I could have given this 5 stars, but just a fair warning to anyone with oily to combination skin, like me, who is looking to use this as a base: make sure to use a primer over your lid. The shadows are creme and with oily skin the product may not have the strongest lasting power. Other than that the product is amazing, i love it!

purchased the Fit Me collection, well just the foundation and pressed powder. I did not like the foundation at all; it did not compliment my oily-combination skin very well. Although, the pressed powder works for me. Its not a favorite, maybe not something I would repurchase, but it gets the job done. I tend to use it as a setting powder and whenever I need to make my skin appear more matte. The formula itself is nice. It is not heavy and blends very well. Although, when I use it I use my own powder brush because I found the that the "puff" provided was a bit weak and thin. So overall its a nice product and I've hit pan, but I won't be going back for more.

I have this blush in golden glow [M01] and blushed [M02]. Golden Glow is almost like a soft bronze white "silver" and gold reflects. Its a very flattering blush color, I use it quite often. Blushed is not as true pink, it is actually like a medium pink with a plum tone to it. The blushes are very nice if you are not looking for something really bold. They work well with my skin, I have oily to combination skin. The colors appear to be very natural; they are not super pigmented, but quite sheer. Gives a nice flush of color to any face.

Not recommended if you have sensitive or oily skin especially!

My shade in this foundation is 320, but its about a shade or so darker than me and I have combination to oily skin. Not the best choice. The foundation in itself is meant to be dewy and such, which works perfect if you have normal/dry skin. The foundation breaks me out like instantly. I stop using it, but whenever I do I make sure to take it off right when i get home. I don't really use it as a full on foundation any more seeing that its a bit dark and breaks me out, it pretty much does not flatter my skin. Although, sometimes I'll use it to contour my cheekbones and it works well. But I have to be quick to take it off. This product could work for you, if you decide to try it good luck.

I have this lip gloss in Coral Reef and it looks great with my tan skin. The color gives my lips a nice flush of color. I was searching for a coral color in the formula of a lip stick but instead I had to settle for the lip gloss. I found the applicator to be a bit "weird." The applicator is kinda rough and it doesn't carry the product as well, so when applying it the color comes on a bit "blotchy" and sheer. Overall, there is a great color range.

50/50

I bought this lipstick in the color Rasberry, which suits my skin tone well. It could be really toned down or really amped up. And i love it. This is the only color I have it because although I adore the color, the effect it has on my lips isn't so great. The lipstick tends to dry my lips, even when I apply lip balm before hand. I would love it more if it didn't have such a negative effect/

AGHH ITS MAGICAL

For the pricing, Sally Hansen is just absolutely out of this world amazing! I purchased five, but only two were from the Extreme Wear Nail Color collection. I got Mint Sorbet and The Real Teal. Mint Sorbet is my absolute favorite because I've been wanting a mint green nail polish for ages now! Its quite opaque, which I love, and it takes about two layers to reach its full potential. So you wont use as much product at once. As for the real teal its quite opaque as well and it has a bit shimmer to it but I didn't find it too appealing. I think it would be a nice color for a night out and such, but it was a bit "over-powering." Overall, I highly recommend these line of nail polishes, there's a great range of colors to choose from and the product is magical in itself!
