Super reflective, fun glitter liners!
These are a great dupe for Urban Decay or other high end brand's glitter liners. I did find that the glitter in these is a bit chunkier than in other brands'. I love using glitter liners for going out. They brighten up my eyes and look great in pictures. This formula didn't burn my eyes, like some other formulas have been known to do. For the price, these are awesome!
Fun, until it comes time to take it off...
This makes for a super fun look for going out (or during the day, if you're brave). The glitter really stays put when it dries down, and it's so sparkly and reflective. It really brightens eyes a lot. I've heard that some glitter liners can burn when applied, but I've never had a problem with this. However, removing this is such a pain. I usually end up with glitter all over my face and fingers, and it takes a little while for it to finally come off.
I will never use anything else to straighten my hair. Ever.
My dad bought this for me for Christmas after months of me complaining about my previous flatiron (an FHI, if you were wondering). My last one destroyed my hair. It would straighten it, but leave it feeling rough, wire-y, and dry. The first time I used my GHD, it felt as though I had just gotten out of the salon. My hair was super smooth, crazy shiny, and soft. I'm obsessed with this. It has cut my straightening time down from 1+ hours to 30 minutes or less. I love how quickly heats up and that it turns itself off after 30 minutes of non-usage.
Long wearing, no flakiness.
I tried out the Maybelline gel liner before I got Fluidline, and liked it, but noticed it flaked off throughout the day. Fluidline does not do that on me at all. It is truly long lasting, and will not budge until I remove it. I only have Siahi, which was a limited edition jewel-toned blue, but it is the most gorgeous, flattering blue I have ever seen. I can't wait for MAC to come out with more colors of these! I've never had anything last so long on my lashline and waterline without migrating elsewhere or smudging all over my eye.
Perfect bright pink!
Lately I've been into crazy bright lipsticks, so of course, MAC was my go-to place. I picked up Impassioned for Valentine's Day, and I am obsessed! I had heard that some of MAC's lipstick formulas - like amplified and matte - could be very drying, but I didn't find Impassioned to be drying at all. It's a gorgeous bright pink with a slight coral undertone. It's super opaque, but applies smoothly and did not dry my lips out in the least, but it wasn't necessarily moisturizing. I did wear a bit of balm with it, just to make sure my lips were smooth. The formula was pretty long lasting. I didn't have to touch it up through most of the day, even while drinking water.
Not my favorite, but I love their price.
I only own a few MAC eyeshadows. I don't really know why, but I never really got into MAC. The ones I have, however, are pretty great. The colors are nice and have great staying power. I prefer Urban Decay or NARS shadows, but these are much cheaper, and that's really why I like them. They are comparable quality, but more affordable. Also, you really can't beat MAC's color range. If you can imagine a color, they probably have it. I like that I can go in with a specific look in mind, and grab the exact color I need. I can be sure that the quality is going to be great too.
Complete changed my skin.
My awesome boyfriend got this for me for Christmas, and I've been using it ever since. This has completely changed my skin! I used to have large pores on my nose, an oily T-zone, and occasional breakouts here and there. The first time I used this, my skin felt so soft and smooth! After about 2 months, my skin is much smoother, less oily, and I rarely breakout. It also seems that the pores on my nose are smaller, or at least much cleaner than before. I absolutely cannot rave enough about this. It's definitely an investment, but if you want skin that doesn't need makeup, this is the way to go!
Dazzle
Dazzle is the first Orly nail polish I had ever tried, and I am OBSESSED with it! It's basically made up of teeny tiny silver glitters that come together to make an almost chrome silver nail polish. It takes two coats to get the desired color. My one complain with this is that it chips very easily, so a good top coat is an absolute must for this particular color. This is my all-time favorite metallic color!
Gorgeous, opaque color.
I love these lipsticks! The colors are super smooth and creamy while still being opaque. They are a little moisturizing, but not much, so I find that I need to use a lip balm with them sometimes, especially in the winter. They also have a rosey scent to them, but it isn't too strong and goes away when you apply it.
Perfect for brightening under eye circles.
I sometimes have pretty bad dark circles from not getting enough sleep. This works wonders in brightening and covering them up a bit. I use this over my liquid foundation (the foundation covers the circles, this brightens). As soon as I put it on it's like BAM I'm awake! It isn't really the greatest concealer, so I wouldn't recommend this for blemishes (but I have actually used it for that, and it covers decently), but for highlighting and brightening, this is a magic wand.
