Cleaning 2 perfection!
I used 2 use MAC cleaner on my brushes & I was pleased w/it...until I tried Parian Spirit! This stuff is truly amazing & I'm won over 4 life w/this cleaner!! Parian Spirit gets out anything & everything u put on ur makeup brushes--even the most stubborn liners & gels! LOVE IT!! FYI--The kit w/the jar & spray bottle r def worth it!! So glad I went ahead & bought that little deal first. I LOVE the little plastic 'grater' looking cleaning piece inside the jar--makes cleaning the most stubborn things an absolute breeze!! Now I just purchase the large refill bottles & pour it in the jar 2 clean them. Also love the spray bottle incase I need something cleaned extra quickly. Thx Beautylish! Y'all def have so many of my FAV products & it's ALWAYS a joy 2 order from u b/c u have the most amazing & QUICKEST service EVER!!!! I always know my order will b at my house w/in 2-3 days of placing my order! ! Beautylish is AWESOME!! Wish other companies would take some tips from u guys!!
watery sensitive eyes--this is 4 U!!!
I have struggled 4 quite some time 2 find a liner--pencil, gel,whatever--that would stay put on my waterline (& tight line); yet at the same time I have the challenge of sensitive, watery eyes that usually wash off whatever liner--& even some of the eyeshadow around it (esp in the corners) which leaves an annoying gap in my eye makeup whenever this happens! UGGGGHH! After lots of reviews, I finally stumbled upon Inglots gel 77 liner. Can I just tell u how much of a life changer this little pot (of gold)--is? I'm sold 4 life on this stuff!! Not only is it way less expensive than the other brands I was using b4 but it literally truly STAYS on all day!! If u have sensitive eyes like me--this is DEF ur answer! Go for it!! I'm so glad I did!
SOFT blending wonder!
This pic is 2 give u an idea of several comparable blending brushes that r similar in size 2 the Goss #19. From left 2 right: MAC duo fiber286, Wayne Goss #19, NARS 13 & MAC 224. While they r similar in size & all blend well--I must admit that the Goss#19 is far superior due 2 how incredibly SOFT it is. The MAC ones blend well but r slightly scratchy & the NARS has been my go-to until purchasing the Goss 19. So if u r on the fence ab purchasing this brush as opposed 2 the MAC ones or NARS & if u can afford a little splurge--the Goss 20 is def worth it--so if ur pocketbook allows--go 4 the Goss! :) HTH!
AMAZING for cracked dry lips & so much more......
I first heard ab this product while watching an adorable MUA (krystletips) on Youtube. She was raving ab how great it was & w/me having tried every lip concoction possible--I was desperate 2 give it a shot! Long story short, I am on a medicine that makes my mouth, lips, & other body parts excessively dry---so my lips r an ongoing problem 4 me. Excessively dry, constantly cracking, even bleeding at times & painful. I've tried everything imaginable (Jack Black lip balm, Blistex, Carmex, EOS, LUSH lip balm, & the list goes on)...all unsuccessful 4 me. So u can imagine my surprise when the MUA was talking ab this lip wonder--only 2 b found in Australia--but then days later--it popped up as available on Beautylish!!! I was ecstatic & immediately ordered a huge jar. Weeks later I am happy 2 report that not only has this helped my lips tremendously, but it also heals open sores rapidly!! My sores take 4ever 2 heal (sorry, TMI) but in using Papaw several times---I would wake up the very next morning & the sore would already b closed up & mostly healed. I knew I had a goldmine then!! I do want 2 add that 4 my lips tho--I do use a lip exfoliator (Lush Lip Scrub) & then follow it immediately w/the Papaw ointment. The combination of these 2 2gether have made my lips a pleasure when applying lipstick again! No more disgusting pealing, flaky skin!! Overjoyed!! They look & feel like 'real' lips once again!

Sounds silly, but whenever I use this brush--I get EXCITED!! Upon 1st seeing it, I thought--how can this b anything special---but boy was this ever a game changer 4 me! So incredibly soft & so versatile! LOVVVVE it for setting under the eyes, great as a finishing blender once u've applied all ur eyeshadows, perfect 4 highlighting & I even keep this baby w/me in my pocketbook b/c it's my all time fav brush ever 4 powder touch ups during the day!! This brush has replaced my Real Techniques brush esp for under eye setting & touch ups, etc. I still really like the RT one but I'm lovin' Billys #12 a whole lot more! I've included a photo comparing the 2 so u can see size, shape, etc. Believe me, u'll love this far more than u ever imagined---I know I do!! I recently learned that this is 1 of Billys favs from his line as well! I can def see why.
Liner gaps NO MORE! HG PERFECTION!!!
BillyB #10--how do I love thee? Let me count the ways.... This little jewel is liner perfection! It's soft enough 4 even the most delicate of eyes yet at the same time firm enough 2 make a statement--if liner perfection is what u want--this is the tool 2 make it happen!! I've added a pic 2 show just how closely the bristles of the BillyB#10 'appear' 2 resemble MACs 210. But don't let looks fool u--these r in no way alike in performance--even tho they 'look' similar--the difference lies in the flexibility of the bristles. Yes, they're both soft BUT the MAC lacks the firmness that the BillyB 10 has-- making the BillyB 10 far superior! Of course--as 2 b expected--it applies gel or liquid liner (Inglot-my weapon of choice) w/an added flick like a dream, but in experimenting further--I've found an even greater reason 2 love this little guy! I absolutely LOVVVVE 2 use it w/my 'Sugarpill Bulletproof' black eyeshadow (yes, another Beautylish love of mine) 2 line as well as smoke out my liner but what truly blew me away is how perfectly it fills in all the tiny gaps between ur lashes that u never seem 2 b able 2 cover completely! Believe me, this is a Godsend 4 exactly that! I simply smudge it back & forth gently b/w the lashes & it coats every last bit of it! No more gaps 4 me--nor 4 u either b/c if ur a perfectionist like me--#10 is ur answer! Thank u BillyB & Beautylish!! I have 3 of these --& am tempted 2 buy a few more! I NEVER want 2 b w/out this baby!!
HEAVEN SENT!!!
This pic shows my all time FAV BillyB brushes (#9,10,12,13)--I've included a review on ALL of them--so pls refer 2 each 'individual' brush review 4 details on all of them. Obviously, this review will b on #9--the brush Billy designed 4 lower lash mascara. First I want 2 say how incredible this brush is 4 its overall VERSATILITY--cause EVERYBODY's gotta love that! Now on2 how I use it... (1) MASCARA--it applies mascara 2 the lower lashes like no mascara 'wand' EVER could!! The result is the MOST PERFECT CLUMP-FREE set of bottom lashes I've ever experienced!! So 4 all of u that have trouble w/the mascara 'wand' applying 2 much or smudging it on ur face--this #9 is 'THE ANSWER' 2 ur prayers!! Secondly, in playing around w it awhile, I discovered a fool-proof usage 4 it on my TOP lashes as well!-- start off by applying a LIGHT coat of mascara 2 BOTH my top & bottom lashes--then wait a minute or so 2 COMPLETELY DRY--then I use either my BillyB OR Kevyn Aucoin eyelash curler (both my top favs here on Beautylish!)--2 curl that LIGHT TOP lash coat of mascara--which applies & curls like an absolute dream! At this point--the bottom lashes r complete but the TOP lashes will need another coat. U can NOW apply that 2nd top lash coat w/the mascara 'wand' if its drama u want, but if u prefer a more natural effect--skip the wand altogether & repeat w/Billy's #9 once more & ur all set! (2) LINERS--#9 is INCREDIBLE w/ANY type of liner u prefer- pair it w/Inglots GEL liner (my HG--from Beautylish) 4 a crisp, sexy cat eye look OR a pencil liner 2 smudge it out OR even shadow 2 give a lovely smoked out effect or 2 use it atop the smudged pencil liner 2 set it in place all day. And (3) lastly I LOVE using the #9 for applying Inglots gel liner 2 the waterline & tightline---PERFECTION!! (Also FYI--see my review on the Wayne Goss #8 brush b/c I LOVE it 4 this same use as well.) In summation, if it's an eye brush u want w/endless possibilities--#9 is the one!!
FINALLY found my HG curler!!!!
I've tried SOOO many lash curlers & never thought I find 'THE ONE' 4 these short, straight, impossible lashes of mine---BUT FINALLY--I found the Kevyn Aucoin--thank U Beautylish!!! This curler is AMAZING--it not only curls my lashes 2 perfection--it doesn't leave u w/that dreaded 'L-shaped' kink! FYI--another tip 4 all u gals & guys w/stick straight lashes like mine--after using the K. Aucoin curler--if u apply ur first coat of mascara w/a waterproof formula--it will lock the curl in place all day--an answer 2 my prayers--for sure! An extra bonus worth mentioning that sets the K.Aucoin curler apart from all the rest is that it opens up so much WIDER than any I've ever used. I've included a pic of my top curlers so u can see the difference 4 yourself! (Shu, Kevyn Aucoin, BillyB-love this 1 too, & MAC)This feature makes it a dream 2 get the lashes right where u want them in the curling device! Get this little darling!! I promise u it's the best out there! :)

Can't express how happy this WHOLE line of BillyB brushes has made me! So much that I own 2 sets w/some additional back ups! I could go on & on about why I love ALL of these so much but instead I'll just mention my HGs of the bunch --#9, #10, #12, & #13--see picture. I have included a detailed review on how I use each of the above mentioned brushes--please go to the review section 4 EACH of these individual brushes 2 read all the details of why & how I use & love each brush! :)
Tightline, Waterline, Eyebrow PERFECTION!
As a makeup fanatic, I've got quite the collection of brushes. So when a brush comes along unlike all my others (Goss #8!)-it really grabs my attention. After trying this little gem once or twice-I was already hooked! Now after using it 4 quite awhile--I give it my Holy Grail stamp of approval! It's surprisingly SOFT & a dream 2 use- esp 4 those w/sensitive (even watery) eyes such as mine. Due 2 its tiny size--it leaves no room 4 error whether ur a beginner or a pro! It applies my HG Inglot gel liner (also from Beautylish & the best ever 4 watery eyes) with amazing ease --both tightlining & the waterline as well. It also makes the most perfect, sharp 'tail' 4 my eyebrows when applying the Anastasia dip brow pomade--again from Beautylish & recent discovery & new FAV of mine! All I can say is GET THIS!! U will fall in love just as I have! I've included a pic showing the MAC 212 alongside the Goss #8 just 4 reference of size only. I wanted u 2 b able 2 see how its tiny size makes such a difference in perfecting ur makeup! HTH!
