Hi kw! Following😉read your review about Kevin aucoin curler..I have round protruding eyes..am wondering whether your billy b's would be best for me compared to your fave k.aucoin.
For a decade now I've used revlons but lately hating them or growing tired of them. I previously had the shu's but gave it away wen I found revlons😁
Sorry this was long..been trying 2find my HG curler few wks now n on budget so can only afford splurges one @time😌

Hi Jenny A! I added 3 photos 2 my gallery of the BillyB & Aucoin lash curlers so you can see the detailed differences. Honestly, I love BOTH of these curlers --both work amazing 4 me! BUT in referring 2 the pics-you can see how the TOP part of the BIllyB curler protrudes up higher (towards the middle of it); whereas, the Aucoin is more even across the entire top. This protruded part ( on BillyB) comes in contact w/the orbital bone when curling lashes --which can either help or hinder depending on your eye shape. It prevents you from going in 2 far, therefore, no danger of pinching the skin. However, if you have larger or deep set eyes--it 'might' prevent you from getting all the way down 2 the roots of the lashes. I don't have any prob.s w/it at all but then I also have average sized/shaped eyes. As 4 the Aucoin, since it stays lower & even across the top-- there's no contact w/the eye bone so you can definitely get as deep as you want w/it. Also--the thing I love MOST ab the Aucoin is that the opening of the curler opens up really large so that it's super easy 2 get your lashes inside & can maneuver it however you please--there's no restrictions on where you can move it. & even tho you can move this 1 around more--I've never had prob.s w/it pinching my skin. Altho, I DID have prob.s w/my Shu Uemura (in my original review pic) pinching my skin a lot--which is honestly why I can't stand that 1! Oh-1 more thing--the Aucoin comes w/a replacement pad but the BillyB doesn't--that's not a deal breaker 4 me but I've seen where some people complain ab that. Sorry I wrote a book but I was hoping 2 make your decision process easier--HTH!! :)
