Beauty Product Reviews

The Best MAC foundation

This by far my favorite foundation. Yes it does feel thick, but when applied with the right foundation brush, it can give you such an airbrushed semi natural look. I loved the fact that this foundation has almost a dewy finish but can still give you medium to full coverage. Most foundations that have that kind of coverage end up looking so cakey and overdone. Most of the artists at M.A.C always recommend Studio Fix, which i don't really understand, I find this foundation easier to work with. They both have around the same coverage. Studio Fix is such a sticky fomula and it dries too fast for me. Also at 30.00 it is cheaper then any other "high" end foundation!

Average Bronzer, But It Won't Make You Look Dirty!

I found this bronzer to be average, yes it is not the best, but at the same time it is not bad. . I compared this to NARS Laguna, which I consider to be the holy grail of bronzers. In my opinion this formula too much on the orange side for me to consider it to be a truly amazing bronzer like Laguna. Any orange hue is not how naturally bronzed skin is supposed to look. What I did like about this is that the formula is quite bendable, it won't make you look dirty ever .Also it's not super pigmented so it looked good on lighter skin tones, and you can apply in layers as well.

The Best Make Up Steal!

Even though i saw these in stores, I waited to see the reviews online before I was willing to try. So far the only colors I have tried are Bold Gold and Bad to Bronze. I really love the two colors that I selected! For anyone that owns the Naked 2 palette, both of these work wonderful as bases under the eye shadows from the palette. I use bold gold as a base color and then apply half baked on top, which really brings out the shimmer then use, then use busted as my cease color and chopper to blend it out. I have heard not so good reviews about the the purple one and I tend to stick to more neutrals eye shadow shades so i won't be purchasing. How can you go wrong, I understand being upset with a expensive high end purchase, but buying one of these compared to a paint pot is such a steal!

You Will Use This Palette Everyday

I am so glad i bought this palette. Although I already own many other sets of eyeshadow, this one does not just sit on my dresser and collect dust. The single thing that I like most about this palette is that all eye shadow colors available in this palette can be easily used for everyday looks, with out looking too colorful or over done. Yes even the colors, black out and busted can be used with a light hand in the cease, for a simple day time look. Yes this collection of eye shadows is an investment, but for only 50 dollars you get so many amazing neutral shades for highlighting, all over lid color, and crease work. I really don't think any other high end make up company sells that many shades you can use everyday for such a good price. Even Too Faced Palettes have less eye shadows, and are less pigmented in my opinion. My favorite colors to use are half baked, and chopper, which great for a neutral summer bronzed eye look. The color Black Out is also great dupe for M.A.C's Carbon if you don't have it, matte black is a staple for any one serious about make up application.

The Only Foundation Brush You Will Ever NEED!

This is my favorite M.A.C brush, and even though it is one of their pricey brushes that M.A.C makes it is worth every penny in my eyes. I have used several other M.A.C brushes to apply foundation such as the 190 flat foundation, the 109 brush, which gets hairs everywhere and the brush gums up with foundation, and a large stippling brush, with makes it hard to blend in small spaces, and causes streaking. This is the perfect brush to apply foundation, with out streaking. This brush makes the heaviest foundation appear light and airbrushed effect

A Let Down

I was really disappointed with this product. The bronzer didn't show up on my skin, there for the pigmentation is a problem. I don't even now why they call the highlighter a highlighter because the color is too dark to be considered a highlighter, they are usually light for a reason. When you apply it as highlighter it made my skin too shinny, and made my pore and imperfections stand out, it just looked totally unnatural, i can't really explain it any better i'm sorry. The only part of this set that I sorta like was the blush. It is a pretty color and looked nice, although I would have not bought this set knowing that the blush would be the only part worth using . all around this is not a very good product

A Little Overrated

Honesly In my opinion this highlighter is average. I do not think it is a bad product, I just think that there are other other products out there that are very comparable and or better. The main reason I feel that this product deserves an average rating is because, the powder over all is not finely milled enough. The sparkles that are incorporated with the powder stand out too much on the skin. In my opinion this powder just sits on the top of my skin and doesn't blend as well as I would have liked. You have to very careful when you are applying it, because it can easily make your skin imperfections stand out. Also it can your face appear too shiny in a bad way. I think it works better as a highlighter for the brow bone area only , and that is what i use it for.

Believe The Hype

I am one that is not easily impressed by bronzers, but bronzer did impress me. It is really compares to what people in the make up world have to say about it. This bronzer is not overly pigmented so it still looks natural on light to medium skin tone with out leaving your face looking dirty, or making it overtly obvious that you used bronzer. It is one of the only bronzers that I have found that would never make anyone's skin look orange. I personally don't use it to contour with, I prefer a darker contour color, but with some one who wants a natural look or who has fairer skin, it would defiantly work.

Like Fairy Dust

Albatross is my all time favorite highlighting powder. For me it does not compare to any other highlighting product on the market. It gives the skin a subtle warm golden gold that blends with with most skin tones . It does not have big chunks of glitter, or a pinkish color that many other highlighting powders have. It feels like fairy dust, and I will continue to repurchase.
