Beauty Product Reviews

Loved it more than I thought I would

The Cookie Dough Fetish shade goes really nicely with my skin tone, it was a great colour choice for me, though I do have some pros and cons.

The pros: the wand is unique and makes it much easier to stay "within the lip lines", it doesn't dry out the lips, and this particular shade is also a great "everyday" shade.

The cons are that is not transfer-proof and because of this, doesn't last that long if you are a vaper or a water-drinker, expect to see some lip outlines on everything you put your lips on!

A great, affordable product

I have sensitive skin and I've had no issue using this treatment, Beautylish is the only company that allows us Canadian access to the Good Molecules line - I like that the brand makes good skincare at an affordable price.

Quality brushes

I have mostly been using the bigger brush for powder, I haven't had a chance to try the smaller brush yet. These brushes are quality, very well made and the handles are easy to hold. I am definitely not used to spending so much on a makeup brush, so I like that there are two included at the high price. These are brushes that are incredibly soft without being too soft - plus they are limited edition and won't be made again (from what I understand after reading Sonia's write up on them), so I would grab them while you can!

It's alright but has a strong Strawberry Champagne smell

I found the scent to be extremely strong, stronger than I was expecting - it is a scent that reminds me of Strawberry Champagne, so if you don't like that scent you might have to pass on this one because it is very noticeable. It is a good size, the bottle is nice and the cap is cute, not a game-changer for me but not a terrible toner either. I have sensitive oily skin and I haven't had any issues so far, except a new zit that may or may not be because of the toner lol

Good Surprise Bag (Even though I didn't get what I hoped for)

I was kinda hoping for a Pink Religion palette, however, what I did get wasn't too bad. I got a Pink/White Star Ranch Mirror, a magnetic 9 pan holder, a single eyeshadow, a couple of lip glosses (including a black one), a thirsty palette, and a mini weirdo palette. Not the best, but certainly not the worst variation I've seen. (I'm just glad I didn't get an Or*y palette most of all lol)

I really enjoy it

I am pleasantly surprised by the honey potion, it doesn't get as warm as I was expecting it to but there is just something so pleasing about how it changes from a yellow gel to a white thicker substance. I didn't notice a smell, but I'm not really sensitive to scents unless they are really strong (I also didn't stick my nose in the jar either lol). I have oily skin and after the 10 minutes I kept it on I did notice less oil and my face felt nice so all in all, it is a great product for me!

Kinda wish I would have saved my money on this one

I was really hyped about this palette because I'm a big fan of pastel colors, this palette's color story is perfect for spring but unfortunately, it requires so much work and building up and the pans are so small in the palette I was actually very disappointed by it. Sadly, I do regret paying over $80.00 Canadian for it and I wish I could just return it.

These are very awesome!

There is a good reason this set is rated so high, these are awesome! The bristles are soft, the handles are cute and this whole set is very well made. Plus, this set is super affordable! Definitely get these, you won't regret it!

Unfortunately, it started to fray and didn't perform as well as I would have hoped

I really wanted to love this brush, I've had it since last September but no matter what I tried I just couldn't make it work for me. The craftsmanship is on par, but it has been six months and the bristles have frayed and split, and I'm very careful with my brush cleaning.

I need to give it more of a chance I think...

I have been super curious about Wayne Goss's brushes since seeing him on youtube. I definitely need more practice in this particular brush but the quality is definitely easy to tell!
