light on the skin

I bought this, myself, because I was scared of a powder foundation that may (or may not) have matched my skin tone. Lately, I've been using this over some concealer (MUFE 5 Camouflage Cream Palette in #1), and a foundation primer (L'Oreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base) and that's really all I need! It feels light on my skin, which is helpful, because I find that I like to touch my face a lot, during the day. The only gripe I have is how much is needed on the face. I try not to put on too much, but sometimes, that can't be helped. The result is obvious creasing with any facial expression, so please, if you, out there in the big ol' interwebs wish to try this, maintain a light hand when applying, ok? Other than that, if I ever run out of this stuff, I'll make sure to buy it, again! You really can't go wrong with this product!

Simply amazing...

When I was deployed aboard the USS Ronald Reagan, I couldn't live without this skincare set. My skin had reacted violently to the recycled air and the distilled water, and as soon as I heard about this brand at a Sephora, before we pulled out to sea, I snatched it up. Within the first few days, I could see outstanding results! I was really impressed! Over the years, I've tried different skincare lines, but when I get a chance I'm going back to this. You can't go wrong.

Better than expected...

I've never been a foundation girl. Just the THOUGHT of wearing any foundation, or powder made me feel like a phony. :/ As I get older, I realize that it might not be so bad for special occasions, or when my skin freaks out. I bought Fairly Light at Sephora about 6 months ago, and I have to say that I love it. It matches my skin tone exactly, and I wouldn't know what to do without it in my makeup collection. I can't really feel it on my face, all day. In fact, it so invisible, I have to keep myself from touching my face to make sure it's still there! lol. This is a wonderful product. I hope it's never discontinued!

Great variety of colors!

This was my go-to palette when I was first starting in makeup. The color payoff is wonderful and the possibilities are endless, really! If you want a neutral look, it's in there. If you want a CRAZY, colorful look, that's all in there, too! You can't go wrong with this palette! It's SOOOOOOOOOO inexpensive, too!

So moisturizing...

I've used so many of The Body Shop's body butters. Raspberry, Strawberry, Coconut, Mango, Satsuma, Moroccan Rose, Papaya, Vanilla Apricot (or something like that)... the list goes on. They are, hands down, the BEST body butters I've EVER USED. There's just no way around it. If you haven't used any, you're missing out. FOR SERIOUS. Get your butts down to The Body Shop and pick a scent! You won't regret it!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT!

I have the colors Summer Angel and Dreamy, which are nude colors. I love Nudes, so I had to try them out. They both flatter my skin beautifully and they really stay true to the name. I put them on after I apply chapstick, which intensifies the moisture. They're a little too shimmery for me, so I just top them with a slightly opaque nude gloss to offset it. Other than that, they're 100% awesome! LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Too light

I didn't know how light the pink was going to be when I bought it. I might find a way to work it into looks, in the future, but for now, it sits amongst my lipsticks, unwanted and alone.

So... MANY... COLORS!

I own a few MAC quads from previous collections, and I have to say that the color payoff is really good. Unfortunately, I can't justify buying them unless they're in a quad, because they're so expensive on their own. :( MAC is a luxury for me.

Great color

I like Soft Ochre paint pot, because it matches my skin color so well, but I find it hard to take off at the end of the night. My lids feel a little raw. :(

GREAT SHADOWS, LOVE the bronzer. Gloss... Meh.

I love the names of the shadows, the faerie theme, the suggested looks, of which I've tried them all, and the Snow Bunny bronzer is great! It's the perfect blush because the combination of colors make it not too obvious on my face. The gloss was sticky and didn't really plump as promised, but I loved the palette overall.
