Beauty Product Reviews

LOVE THESE!!!

These are lightweight, gorgeous lipsticks. They're creamy, smooth and come in gorgeous packaging.

I have quickly become addicted to them after receiving Falon (a peachy nude) as a gift. I also have Leahana (a rosy pink) and Carliana (a true blue bright red). They all wear as a satin finish.

They are intense, pigmented and last on the lips. They remind me of Tom Ford on the lips. They feel like I'm wearing nothing to the point where when I first wore Falon I kept checking my makeup mirror to make sure I still had it on!

In the photo, from top to bottom, Carliana, Leahana, and Falon. The photo simply doesn't do them justice. Carliana is a bit darker in person but it's the best my iPhone could do!

Great Brow Tamer!

I love this brow tamer. My brows are unruly without it. It's clear and sets your brows in place giving them a groomed appearance. They set in place the entire day until I remove my makeup in the evening. For me, a tube lasts about 6 weeks of almost daily use. I've repurchased several times. The gel has a gel-hairspray consistency that I haven't been able to match in other products.

I've tried other brow gels and they just don't have the lasting power this one does. I will always keep coming back and repurchasing this product! It's a must have and well worth the price!

MUST HAVE FOR PALE GIRLS!!!

With the craze of contouring, the struggle is REAL for pale girls to get the right shade. Often, I've found ones that are too dark or too orange for my pale skin. This is the perfect gray warm toned contour powder out there.

The powder is smooth, easy to blend and very natural looking. You also get a lot of product for the price. This is probably the best contour powder out there in my opinion.

If you're pale, try it, you won't regret it!!

Just OK.

I was so excited to try this powder foundation as I love the Sensual Skin Enhancer. I am really picky when it comes to powder foundation. It needs to do the job of a liquid or cream foundation without looking cakey, splotchy or like I have a film over my face. This powder is very very dry, difficult to blend and just sits on the skin. My skin is combination-dry and it clung to my dry patches in a weird way making my skin look flaky.

Even with trying multiple ways to apply the foundation it still looked patchy and uneven. I sadly returned it. If you have oily skin, this might be better for you--not for dry skin girls.

I just can't...

I hate washing my brushes daily but this daily cleaner is just not good for me. I wouldn't repurchase. Yes, it does the job decently...but the smell. I have a sensitive nose but it smells intoxicatingly like orange citrus. At first when I bought it, I thought that wouldn't be a big deal. But it's an overwhelming mix of orange citrus and chemical smell that doesn't dissipate even after they dry for 24 hours. I also feel that it was a little too harsh for some of my natural hair brushes which were left looking a bit dehydrated and frayed. That is a dealbreaker for me. I'm back to Sephora's daily brush cleaner which has a much more mild smell and works better.

OBSESSED!

This is amazing for the undereye area--great coverage and doesn't cake up and it's also a perfect match. It's great for highlighting darker areas of the face as well. It's a nice liquid texture and works well with CT setting powder. I've already purchased a 2nd!

Good but not great.

I have tried every mascara under the sun and this one is just okay for me. If you want a very very natural looking mascara this is what you're looking for...if your lashes are pure perfection and you just want to blacken them...then go for this. However, if you want definition and length (where I think this mascara is lacking) this is not for you. I have decent lashes and this just manages to make them look 'meh.' This mascara also flakes and transfers on me at the slightest rub of the eye or watery eye.

I am a diehard Lancome girl and tried this to see if I would like it...sadly, it just didn't stack up to my HG Definicils.

Believe the HYPE!

I wasn't sure if I should believe the claims and cult following of this product. I have combination-dry skin and too often a moisturizer either isn't hydrating enough or it's too oily or it's heavily fragranced and irritates my skin.

I use this as a moisturizer before primer (especially on very dry skin days) and as a primer in and of itself on days when my skin is doing okay but needs a bit of help and I might be in a humid environment. This creme is fantastic for both uses. It very little scent which is good for my sensitive skin. I haven't used it as a makeup remover but I've heard it's great for that as well!

Gorgeous Demi-Matte Shades

I have three of these in Relentless (a mauve nude), Timeless (an orange red) and Endless (a medium fuchsia pink). They aren't true mattes but have a bit of a demi-matte finish. They are creamy, light and great for summer. I haven't noticed that they slip and they wear for a good 5-6 hours before needing to reapply.

I do notice that in person the shades are much more opaque than the swatches online, so if you're looking for something sheer, this isn't it.

Gorgeous Powder

This powder is great for a quick makeup day when you want to have a a good light-medium coverage but you're short on time. It's also a great powder for touch-ups over liquid foundation.

I am pale with neutral undertones and 1A is a perfect match. I was disappointed to see their were glitters in my shade and I almost immediately thought I needed to return it but after applying it, the glitters do dissipate and leave the skin looking luminous rather than glittery.

My only reservation is a I wish it came in a pressed powder formulation!
