DENSE ULTRA SOFT BRUSHES

With the exception of the Soft Concealer brush, the other four brushes are dense. More dense than other Sonia G brushes. They feel even softer than the natural hair brushes by Sonia G. I have nearly all of the red handled Sonia G brushes. There is the perfect amount of flex to the brush hairs. You would not know these were a mix of synthetic hair if it didn't say so in the description. No hairs have come out during washing. I highly recommend this set. I've been waiting for cream and foundation brushes by Sonia G for years. These were worth the wait. I selected Express shipping. Arrived in Australia in about 5 days.

Perfect

I love this palette. I have all the Viseart Edit palettes except for the Warm one. I also have the full sized Viseart Paris Nudes palette. The shimmers in this doesn't have the dusty white mica that's in the Paris Nudes palettes, so that's a welcome change. I bought this palette to accompany that one, because it needs mattes and darker shades to deepen. I do not feel that the metallics in this palette are true metallics. They do not have a lot of pigment in them like the Viseart Dark Edit. They are Paris Nudes metallics, by this, I mean they are lighter. The mattes is here are a touch dusty, same as always. Having said that, my jaw fell open at how finely milled the mattes are and the blend ability, without skipping, even when placed lightly on a sticky eye. The idea of this palette seems to have been to create a natural pinky and neutral eye and its done that beautifully. It's also a complete palette on its own. The dark brown in the palette is enough to deepen outer v and do an under eye liner. The matte mauve/lilac is perfect for under the brow bone. It's not pasty and works perfectly with the other colours. A matte cream would have been too pasty and jaring. I found the colours in this palette did not wear as long on the eye before muddying together. The ability of Viseart eyeshadow colours to stay true on the eye is something I enjoy in their other palettes. Paris Nudes and Paris Edit were designed for a different eye look, that most people will love for an everyday look. These are 2 of my most favourite palettes. I own about 70 palettes. Perfect with a neutral or strong lip colour. I love it. If you haven't purchased a Viseart Paris Edit palette before, they are small. Perfect for travel. I haven't measured the per gram value. The little pans are magnatised and can be interchanged with other palettes.

Interesting

This is an interesting brush. It is slightly shorter on one side. I was worried that it would apply highly pigmented powders patchy, but it does not. It does a terrific job and for the first time, my contour looks airbrushed. Initially, I thought the hairs were too short and stubby but I think, after a few washes (I've washed it once) it will become fluffier. Sonia G fan brushes are the best in the market, so while it takes a hot minute to work out how to hold and use a fan brush properly, the results and flexibility of function, not to mention the versitility make this one an interesting brush. There are options now though, if you want one with a thinner handle and slightly longer and fluffier hair, then when the Sky Face brushes get sold individually, you can pick up the Worker Fan instead. I prefer the thinner handle on the Worker Fan. It will be easier to maneuver than the thicker handle on this.

Not dense enough

I thought this brush would be a little denser, by about 15-20% so that a buffing action could be used to buff in powder. I like my powder to be applied a little more heavy than what this one allows. When I first got the brush there was a few pokey hairs that irritated my face, but after using it, it seems to have softened down completely. Not sure that I'm completely happy with this brush yet.
