Beauty Product Reviews

Not a big fan of Natasha Denona shadows

The matte formula is creamy and it gives an even coat of color on the eyelids but it's hard to create dimension with just one swipe. You really have to use a denser brush to pack the pigments on in order to build the color intensity. The shimmer shade is creamy yet not my favorite. Also, I personally prefer eyeshadows with less oil content so the color intensity will last longer on the lids (like Pat Mcgrath's eyeshadow).

Surprisingly good

Really love this palette! This is definitely my favorite CT product! It really exceeds my expectations as I first thought that the color story seemed a little boring and repetitive. But in fact, the shades have different undertones so they do look different on my lids. The second pile is definitely my go-to peachy shades! Just love them so so much.

Pigmented but not special

Honestly, I'm quite disappointed with this quad as I had a very high expectation. I personally prefer intense color payoff so I'm not so happy with this quad, especially it's quite pricey. The shades only look pigmented when they're swatched on my hand but look kind of sheer once they're applied on the lids. Also, the pop shade just looks sad on my lids with chunky glitters yet not that flattering. But I have to say that the other 3 shades are creamy and easy to work with. If you want to try out some Charlotte Tilbury shadows, I'll recommend her newer quads which have a more pigmented formula and also her palettes (those with 12 shades.)

I like everything about this gloss. It has a very nice formula that glides on the lips and it is very moisturizing. It does not feel tacky at all and it smells like vanilla which is very pleasant for me. The purple shimmer is so special and unlike any other shade that you see from other brands. It is the kind of product that truly has a personality, which makes it live up to the name of Jeffree Star! If you like a very bold purple look and a big Jeffree fan, you'll definitely need this! Btw, the color of it also goes so well with the Blood Lust palette.

Nice pigmentation, but smells weird

This is a gorgeous lipstick that gives me a goddess kind of vibe. It applies very smooth but it feels a little sticky on my lips. The packaging is also very glamorous and feels expensive. However, there is one thing that bothers me is the smell of it! It has a pungent plastic smell that smells very much like a cheap plastic container and it is definitely not pleasant.

A very inspiring color story

This is my second Jeffree Star eyeshadow palette and I really enjoy playing with it. The color story is unique and I especially like the first two rows of the shades which are more pastelly. Usually, I prefer doing very natural makeup looks but this palette made me get out of my comfort zone and be more creative when doing the eye looks. The formula, in general, is great as most of the shades are pigmented and blends well on the lids, but some shades that are color pigments are a little bit intimating as I'm not 100% sure that they are eye-safe. FYI, they stain my skin and also burns a bit.

A lovely daily blush for light/fair skin tone

This blush works perfectly on my skin tone (which is fair). These colors may appear a little light on the pans but once you apply it onto your skin, it's just so natural and it has the right amount of pigmentation that makes your face look healthier but yet not too over the top. It also has a nice sheen that gives your skin the right amount of glow. It is perfect for the no-makeup-makeup look.

Best blush formula ever!

This blush has become my all-time favorite! The formula of this is so perfect that I don't even know how to describe it. I've been collecting all sorts of makeup for several years and I can definitely say that this blush is by far THE MOST GORGEOUS one in my collection! It goes on so smoothly and blends seamlessly on the skin. I like to put both of the power and the highlighting sides at once as they work so well together. I do like this blush way more than some other high-end blushes like the Marc Jacobs air blush soft glow duo, the NARS blush, the SUQQU pure color blush, the KEVYN AUCOIN Neo-Blush, and the Dior Rouge Blush.
