Beauty Product Reviews

would be my favorite foundation if...

It didn't make my skin break out. :| I was super excited to buy (and try) this foundation due to the raving reviews of it. Don't get me wrong, it stands up to its claim of long-lasting. It goes on nicely and along with a primer, can make your skin absolutely flawless. I also have oily skin, and the short time I had used this, it lasted longer on my face than many other drugstore brands. I also didn't see much oxidation of it, keeping the color of my face pretty much the same as it was when I applied it. But IT CAUSED BREAKOUTS, like MAJOR breakouts. I'm hoping it was the sponge that I just started using that is causing the breakouts...*fingers crossed* but for now, back to my MAC Matchmaker... :/

Ehh..

I've never really used it on my entire head, just on my bangs because they get oily if I don't shower every single day. But anyway, this smells really weird, and makes my hair really heavy. I mean, my hair is already super thick, and this just weighs it down even more. I have blonde hair, so I didn't really notice any white residue. It takes a long time to brush it out though. Overall, I think it's an okay product, I haven't really seen any other dry shampoo out in the market so I suppose this will do for now.

My favorite conditioner ever!

When I got my hair majorly highlighted and bleached, my hair got really dry and my hair stylist recommended this product. I'm so glad I listened to her, this is the best conditioner I have ever used. It smells like heaven, makes my hair super soft, and repaired it. I use it about 3 times a week: lather it in my hair, put a shower cap on and do everything else I need to in the shower, so I leave it in for about 15-20 minutes, and oh my gosh, my hair is so soft. My boyfriend loves the smell in my hair too. One thing though, I buy it from salon supplies stores because they have the larger bottles there (not to mention cheaper), in comparison to Wal-mart.

Very affordable, and it does its job

It easy to use, goes on smoothly, long-lasting, doesn't smudge on the crease of my eyelid, doesn't dry out and crack, and the tiny little pot lasts so long! The only complaint I have is that the brush can be a tad pointier, so I can make really fine lines. TIP ABOUT THE BRUSH: After several use it gets clumpy and dry if you use it and just store it, so I like to wash the brush after each use with soap and warm water to get all the eyeliner out, dry it with a towel/tissue/etc, then kinda reshape the brush with your thumb and index finger, then store away. The cream itself is no as creamy as I would like it to be, but ANOTHER TIP: I discovered that wetting the brush a little before dipping it in the eyeliner makes it go on smoother on my lids. :)

PS. I accidentally bought the Charcoal one time, and I hated it.... :l
