Feeling Cheeky

Adored this mineralized blush from the moment I spotted it. This is the first shade that I have purchased in the mineral finish. It is so soft but explosive with color. I use it with a dampened contour brush to maximize the robust pigment and to smooth out the blending. It has tremendous staying power....I LOVE!

Pleased and eye pleasing

This shade absolutely rocks! It's very smooth in application and full of color. I usually don't wear lipstick but when do I like to wear brown or black liners if I feel inclined. Lately I have been testing the waters and decided to go with NYX Jumbo Pencil in Purple on this day (see photo below). The color really popped with the thick liner from the savvy colored pencil. Blended perfectly to give it a two toned appearance. I garnered so many compliments on the lips more than the eyes. By the way...received this lipstick from the Back 2 MAC program---YAY!

Brighter Days

Beautiful glass container for a beautiful emulsion. Ever wonder why many Asian women have such gorgeous skin that glows...this could be the reason. As a dark skinned woman I have issues with acne flare-ups and scarring. This emulsion coupled with Rice Water Cleansing Foam alleviates my troubled skin. After a few days you will see the difference in your skin's quality. The only thing that I don't like is the fragrance and the heaviness of the nicely crafted bottle. I would prefer to have no scent and plastic bottle->that's just me. As with many The Face Shop products you can not order them online or go into a store to purchase. Try ebay or Amazon.

Korea 2007

When I got stationed in Korea in 2007 I realized that I didn't have access to certain skin care items. I was walking past a Face Shop store and got handed some samples of the Rice Water Cleansing Foam. I tried it months later and was blown away at how the cleanser had brightened and softened my skin. I went out to the store and stocked up on it. Unfortunately, you can not buy this product online or in the states as of yet. You can however check on ebay and Amazon to see if anyone is selling their personal stash. I still have friends that are stationed there or that live there and they provide me with my constant supply of Rice Water products.

Medusa is gorgeous!

I have a variety of pigments from Medusa and this company is not getting the accolades it deserve. I doubted that this dust could do what it said because I'm a big MAC user but it proved itself to be true. The powdery pigments are so explosive when it comes to color and pop. I recommend that if you are into blending and mixing colors to try this. You will not be disappointed. I use their Stick It base because it is clear and it doesn't deviate from the essence of the application.

Vanishing Act!

Wanted to hide a tattoo that I have on my wrist...bought this product. I wore it for the special event and worried that it would rub off on my clothing. Needless to say that this concealer covered my black ink and was color fast so that it did not stain my jewelry, clothing or any individual that I came into contact with. Now, I mix it in with a little of my tinted moisturizer and it works like a charm. I make sure to keep this in my makeup kit.

Glitzy

Although glitter can be a pain, there is no other way to avoid getting it all over the place. This will keep your glitter on the eyes if used correctly. I have used other products and none works quite like this! For about $20, a little bit of Glitter Insurance can take you a long way. I suggest using a damp brush with water to apply the glitter. Make sure to use very small amounts of glitter to reduce fallout until the area is completely covered with your favorite shade.

Drugstore Beauty

I really needed some brushes in a pinch. Walked into a local drugstore and found this brush set...Could not believe the value for such nicely crafted brushes. They are very pleasant to look at as well as to hold.

makeup kit's best friend

This jumbo pencil can do soooo many good things for your image. It can be your eye shadow base, it can be your eye shadow. It can be your highlight, it can be your eye liner...the possibilities are endless! Milk is my fav!

Soft but bold!

These pigments provide the best of both worlds! They are ultra soft for blending but supple in boldness for that extra pop! Don't need to spend a bunch of money for beauty that will last all day if applied correctly. Just be careful not to spill any...will cause a major issue to clean up!
