I found this at TJ Maxx in a The Balm gift set. I bought it mainly for the eyeshadows in the set, but this blush is definitely the show stealer. It is as pigmented, if not more, than my Nars and Benefit blushes and the color is absolutely beautiful. I used it on every one of my friends for prom so I know it looks good on different skin tones. I can't say it lasts particularly long, but it's nothing unusual for a blush.

The woman who helped me at Lush was really helpful, and told me about it. She told me it would be good for my very fine, very breakable hair because it's made with a LOT of coconut oil, and it moisturizes hair really well. My only problem with it is that sometimes the moisturizing-ness of it gets to be a bit too much, so I alternate using this with using a more clarifying shampoo, but I think if your hair is dryer and thicker, you probably wouldn't have this problem. It smells amazing and my hair always feels soft afterwards, I really recommend it.

For any of you who are unsure about using a solid shampoo, you're not alone. I was pretty terrified going into this product. But it's really very easy to use. You can either rub the bar into your wet hair, or begin the lather in your hands and massage it into your scalp.

This is just another example of my lush obsession, this stuff is amazing. You put it on your body before your shower and it's thick and creamy and feels like a body butter. Then when you get in the shower, the water makes it suds up and it works like a body wash and even though it gets your body very clean, it also leaves your skin feeling super moisturized.

THIS IS GREAT!

I LOVE this palette! I was a huge fan of the first Naked palette, and I think this just adds to all the different looks I can do. Like some of my favorite combinations from either palette are bootycall and sin, foxy and gunmetal, naked and ydk. If I had to pick just one of the Naked palettes though, I would say this one, because I like all the colors in this one, whereas I could've lived without some in the original. My one complaint is why did they repeat Half Baked?! It's my least favorite color in the palette.

Underwhelming

I saw these at CVS and got really excited because I've never tried Kajal eyeliners, and I love eyeliner. So I got them, brought them home, swatched them, and literally said, out loud, "meh". They don't do anything fantastic, they pretty much look exactly like if you used eyeshadow as your eyeliner. They're pretty sheer, I had to work it for a while to get any pigmentation. They do not show up on the water line which was a major disappointment. They are also very dry-feeling and don't go on smoothly at all. The only thing I can say is that they have good color selection.

I really like this concealer for spot concealing. I prefer my Benefit Erase Paste for my under eyes, but if my bags aren't that bad, I'll use this. I really like the packaging, I feel like I'm not wasting product because of it, and the concealer itself is very opaque and covered a giant red zit on my face. The only downside is there is a very limited range of colors.

In the beginning of fall, I went on a mission for mineral foundation. I tried Bare Minerals, but the color wasn't a particularly good match for me, and for the price I wanted perfection, so I tried the Maybelline one. I got the wrong shade, and I have no idea why I didn't just go back and pick another shade, but I digress. I have finally found the right color for me, and I love this. I use Benefit's That Gal primer underneath it just to give it something to hold on to and I really like the combination. I haven't noticed any radical changes in my skin, but it's only been a couple weeks. I would definitely recommend trying this, I get pretty good coverage out of it and I'm very happy with it.

I have these in 4 colors. Bad to the Bronze is a gorgeous bronze/brown color, I think it's the best of the ones I have in terms of staying power. This is the one I'll use most often on its own. Audacious Asphalt is a deep gunmetal grey color. I'm a big fan of the Benefit creaseless creme eyeshadows and I love the fact that this color is halfway between Skinny Jeans and Strut by Benefit. It's a pretty good dupe for either of them. Tough as Taupe is the most unique creme eyeshadow I've seen, as very few of them are matte colors. Every single other one I have has shimmer. This one does last a lot longer when you use a primer, I have experienced some creasing with it, but it was after a long time of wear. Painted Purple, although a beautiful color, is not nearly as pigmented as the other 3. It's very sheer when applied. However, if you use a primer and kind of build up the color, it can give you a really beautiful wash all over the lid.

Beat Bobbi Brown

I wish I'd had my camera. About a week ago, my friend and I were at Kmart and I told her how much I love this eyeliner, she told me she already used Bobbi Brown but because it was so inexpensive and she wears eyeliner everyday, she'd try it. I went to her house yesterday and I asked her how it was working for her, and she brings me to her vanity, swatches the Milani liner and then the Bobbi Brown one and I swear, this one was a million times blacker and smoother. You have to try it, you will not be disappointed.

I took Christina's advice and used Biore pore strips after using the powder and oh my goodness, what came out of my pores was atrocious. I had been using the strips before so I know the powder is what made the difference. I feel like it excavated every pore on my nose and made it so much easier for the strips to do the job. The product is easy enough to use. Soak a cotton ball in water and put the damp cotton ball in the powder to make a paste. Don't worry about using enough powder to make the paste, it's ok if it's kind of thin. Then you swipe the paste over your blackheads/oily areas and let it sit for 10 minutes. After that, you use a toner to remove the dried paste. After that, just to helps the process out, I got water on my nose and used my pore strips like usual and removed them after 10 more minutes. I know that sounds like a waste of 20 minutes but while both things are drying you can do whatever you want. If what this stuff did on the first try says anything about its effects in the future, this is going to be a holy grail product for me.
