Beauty Product Reviews

Liked it, don't LOVE it.

I’ve been trying this out for about a week and a half now, and overall, I’m impressed. It performs really well for something that was only $1.00, and I was getting ready to say it beat my holy grail primer, Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

But then I spent a few hours outside in the heat, and my oily eyelids struck once more and this creased on me.

Still, this is a great everyday option for me, if all I am doing is hanging out inside, or at work. Save the TFSS for a special day (or when I’ll be outside a lot), use this all the other times.

This really compares to UDPP to me. It performs on me just as well (I have issues with creasing with that as well).

I get so many compliments on this!

I have been using this for about a month now, and have to say I'm officially addicted!

It doesn't provide me with a whole lot of coverage- I have acne, scarring and redness. However, it does give off an amazing glow, and really adds something to my foundation routine (I use a primer, this, and bare minerals). Every time I use it, someone compliments me, and asks how I get that "inner glow". I tell them about this product!

I use fair to light, and it is the perfect color for my super pale skin.

Worth the hype, and the price!

I admit, I was slightly skeptical of this product, but after just one use, I am completely in love!

It has to be the fastest drying, non-sticky top coat I have ever used. And it gives the polish such a beautiful finish! It is definitely worth the money I paid for it (around $7.00 at Sally's Beauty Supply with my club card), and I will continue to spend the money on it forever.

Wasn't sure about this at first..

FTC: I won this in a contest, so I did not purchase it with my own money.

I have to admit, I wasn't sure about this at first. I used way too much and let's just say it didn't look good. So I was thankful I wasn't out any money, and figured I'd pass it off to someone that could use it.

But the other day, I got the urge to try it again. I barely squeezed the tube, and got a little of the product on my finger, and slowly blended it on to my eyelid.

I definitely won't be giving this away now! I got a ton of compliments on my makeup that day, and I was only wearing this product and some mascara.

I'm sure this tube will last me forever, but once it's gone, I will definitely be repurchasing.

Really great for that little extra!

FTC: I was given this product by BzzAgent to review.

This is something I probably never would've bought on my own, I'll be honest. Most of the time, I think things like this are a total gimmick. However, I got over that after trying it! I love the regular mascara- it's a good sized wand that is not too big but not too small, and the formula is also really nice. But the other end... WOW! The wand takes a little getting used to, but it is becoming my favorite thing to put over not only this mascara, but sometimes on my other mascaras as well! It just gives a little something extra on the eyes that really makes them stand out.

I would recommend only using the sparkle on the very tips of our lashes- on occasion I have put it on the length of my lashes, and end up seeing the world through sparkles. Which is interesting, but obviously not ideal!

I would definitely recommend picking this up to try. And even though I didn't buy it, I will be repurchasing.

This is the only primer that keeps my eye makeup lasting all day with no creasing. In the middle of the summer in 115 degree weather. You do have to be careful about using too much, but you don't need that much in order to prime your eyes.

Also, if it does get oily, make sure the cap is on tight, then squeeze the tube in multiple places to mix it back up. That's what usually works for me.

My tube has lasted me a LONG time. Probably over two years with at least three times a week use. Definitely worth the price!

I cannot live without this!

It can be pricey, but it makes my makeup routine so easy. It looks natural, and you can choose the amount of coverage you want. I will admit, sometimes if I go to heavy, it can be a bit cakey, but usually I just take a clean brush and buff it in a little more and that goes away.

I also tend to have better results if I use a foundation primer with it, but on those days I forget, it still looks like I'm not wearing makeup at all- just more natural.

I both love and hate this mascara. Sometimes it makes my eye lashes look super glamorous and I don't know how I lived without it, and other times (most of the time) it makes them look clumpy and gross. It's also really wet and makes a mess if I'm not super, super careful. Which is a pain when I'm in a hurry.

It's definitely not a mascara I would repurchase, but I will use it as long as I can.

I'm a huge fan of waterproof mascaras, and so far this is one of my favorites. It gives my sparse lashes a TON of volume, and doesn't flake off my face. It also holds the curl on my lashes really well.

It can be a little difficult to remove, but if you hold a cotton swab with some eye makeup remover on your eye for a few seconds, then wipe off, it seems to do the trick.

My favorite "I can't believe I lived without this for so long" palette! I cannot believe the range of looks I can get from this, to my normal, 'every day work neutral' look, to my 'going out with my girlfriends and I want my eyes to look hot' look.

Even with the fall out that I get from Sidecar, I still find myself constantly using it. Really, I cannot say enough good things, or recommend this enough! It's completely worth the price.
