1. Start by applying Redken Guts 10 Volume Spray Foam onto dry hair, saturating the hair so it feels towel dried.

2. Rake your fingers through your hair and further brush out with a Mason Pearson flat brush.

3. Blow out using a T3 Featherweight Luxe dryer onto the hairline to get a smooth feel around the face.

4. Finger scrape the hair back to the nape slightly left of center and tie loosely with an elastic.

5. Lightly tease the ponytail for separation and airiness.

6. Smooth and use your thumb to turn the ponytail up towards the crown, wrapping around to create a knot. Leave ends out loosely for added whispiness.

7. Pull some loose bits out of the sides and finish with Redken Quick Dry 18 Instant Finishing Spray.
