Creighton first applied Frizz-Ease Straight Fixation Smoothing Créme from root to end on towel-dried hair. Then he blow-dryed Jane's hair with a Mason Pearson Flat Brush and used a two-inch jumbo curling iron to add some texture and shine to her hair. Creighton back-combed the crown, creating a side bang for Jane, and used the curling iron to curl the end of her hair. Creighton curled chunky sections in different directions, and bent the ends for a slightly edgy effect.
