NEW YORK FASHION WEEK S/S 2012
Hair
The overall look at Theyskens Theory was edgy, soft and wearable. Kérastase lead hairstylist Odile Gilbert created shiny loose waves—it's an urban girl on the street who knows how to look good.
-
Apply new Kérastase Fibre Architecte to smooth hair and restore damaged ends.
-
Massage Kérastase Mousse Volumactive into the lengths to hold the style and create texture.
-
Section dry hair and use a one-and-a-half inch barrel curling iron to create a natural wave.
-
Start at the nape of the neck and wrap medium sections of your hair once around the barrel.
-
Switch the direction of the curling iron and wrap the next section around the barrel, working your way down the hair shaft to create an s-wave instead of a cylinder curl.
-
Spray Kérastase Double Force Hair Spray to set the curl and repeat for each section.
-
Brush through hair to loosen the wave and finish with Kérastase Double Force Hair Spray for a natural look.
