Lily Collins' 2011 MTV Movie Awards Beauty Look

At the 2011 MTV Movie Awards last night, actress Lily Collins (currently starring in "Priest") test drove Heidi Klum's new hair product, Kesari, a jasmine-scented hair serum that's inspired by her trips to India. For the awards show, Heidi's go-to hair guy, Eric Gabriel, styled Lily's hair using just Kesari Indian Oil Hair Serum. Gabriel went for "loose, rock and roll sexy curls" on Lily, who's dad is singer Phil Collins. Since Kesari's formula is a treatment and a styling product in one, Lily's hair was protected from heat damage while being moisturized by the hair serum.

For makeup, Lily wanted to keep the focus on her eyes so makeup artist Kayleen McAdams (actress Rachel McAdams' sister) did a shimmering smoky eye: "Lily wanted to keep the focus on her eyes so we did a soft but smoky eye with many different shimmery shadows.”

  1. Apply a pea size amount of Kesari Indian Oil Hair Serum on the ends of slightly damp hair. This product is rich, so you don't need very much.

  2. Blow dry hair with a medium-sized round brush.

  3. Set the hair with a 1 ½ curling iron into a loose spiral curl.

  4. Finish the look with a light application of more Kesari Indian Oil Hair Serum throughout the hair for all-night shine.** **

  1. Prep skin with Dior Skinflash Primer.

  2. Even out Lily's milky pale skin with Cle de Peau Foundation in 10. Set with MAC Pressed Powder.

  3. "Lily has the most amazing full brows that require no filling in," says Kayleen, who set them in place with Anastasia Clear Brow Gel.

  4. Use Cle de Peau Eye Shadow #114 to cover the entire lid, then Chanel Soft Touch Eye Shadow in Safari in a V-shape on the outer edge and blend it into the crease.

  5. To emphasize her lashes, Kayleen used MAC Eyeliner in Smolder, a creamy black, right at the root of her lashes on top and bottom.

  6. Apply two coats of Cover Girl Lashblast Fusion Mascara in Black to the top lashes only.

  7. To keep the rest of the look to be soft and sheer, sweep Kevyn Aucoin Blush in Dolline along the cheekbones and temples.

  8. For a sheer nude tone, fill in well-moisturized lips with Nars Belle Du Jour Lip Liner instead of lipstick.
