I'd seen so much about these MAC paintpots but didn't buy into it because I personally don't really care for cream eyeshadow type products. I use NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils as a base and I've been quite content with that. I was at a Cosmetics Company Outlet and saw a paintpot in the color "Delft" and thought it would look beautiful with their "teal" pigment. I was right. It made the pigment so much more vibrant and it didn't crease on me at all, which is generally my problem with creamy products (of course, I used TFSI under this). LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Will definitely be buying more (especially from my CCO where they're like $11!)!
*The picture is of "Teal" applied on top of "Delft." It's amazing.
I have lashes that are relatively long but not super thick so I really like volumizing mascaras. I've seen enough people rave about these mascaras that I thought I'd give it a shot. I love the brush. I cannot stand plastic bristled mascara wands, they just don't work for me at all. It's a really unique brush and I think it's great. I think the formula is where the product is lacking. I tried using my faithful L'oreal Voluminous brush in this mascara and it is not the same at all. It's ok but I won't be repurchasing it.
I have these shadows and LOVE them!! The mattes are INCREDIBLE! I like the pearls a lot too! The ones I'm iffy on are the AMC's as they're not as nice to work with as the mattes and I have one DS which I don't love. But I would 500% recommend the matte and pearl shadows!!! You also cannot beat the price and amount of product you get for the price. I think people don't realize that you get 1.5 g of products in a MAC shadow and you get 2.7 g of product in the square palettes from Inglot (there's 1.5 in the round ones though). And for $4.50 apiece when you buy 10 or more (as opposed to $11 from MAC)??? Can you beat it?? I don't think so!
I had used L'oreal Decrease because it was cheap. Then I bought this. I would tell anyone, even someone who has a very small budget to buy this. If you have to, save your money and get this! It has made all the difference in the world in how long my shadow stays in place, how the colors look, and how my shadows blend together. Not to mention, I use this EVERY single day and a tube lasted me over a year!
Overall, I like this palette. I bought it at Sephora with a gift card. I don't think I would pay $34 out of my own pocket. I bought it for the color "Dagger" which is a beautiful dark blue with some bright blue sparkles. The blues and greys are nice but I don't ever use the white shade. I HATE the cream shadow, it makes my lids look lumpy and wrinkly and it's dried out way too fast.
If I could give this 10 stars I would! This is the number one product that I cannot live without! I have to have this! I use the highlight under my eyes because I don't have terrible dark circles and it really helps! And the concealer pigmentation is amazing! I have acne scars and I cannot tell you how often people tell me how amazing my skin is. Umm... no it's not but this stuff makes it look so much better!
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I own this is "Fairytale" and it's incredible! It's a beautiful coraly/red/pink color. This thing does NOT come off! It stays all day and night long! I left it on my lips overnight and tried to go in with a makeup wipe in the morning and it still didn't come all the way off! If you want a long lasting, bright lip color, this is the way to go!
