My Desert Island Lip Moisturizer!
Prep + Prime Lip is like double sided tape for your lips. It locks in moisture on your lips while giving a smooth foundation for your lipstick to be applied on. Also, if you lightly apply this around your lip line, it will keep your lipstick from bleeding. It is a MUST HAVE especially if you are wearing red lipstick! I don't wear lipstick without this on my lips.
My Desert Island Powder!
Hello, My name is Patricia and I am a MAC Addict. ("Hello Patricia!" says the MAC Addicts Anonymous group.) This powder literally touches every part of my face when I am applying a full face of makeup. I love to use this as a finishing powder to smooth everything together and get that airbrushed finish. Also, I love to use this to prep my eyelids for primer and eyeshadow. I have oily skin, so if I don't use this before applying primer and eyeshadows, my eyelid will crease a lot. I have only met two other people that have the same issue, so most people don't even have to worry about applying transparent on their eyes. But, if you do notice your eyeshadows creasing even with primer, I highly suggest dusting some Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder on your eyelids before applying any primer. (I also apply MAC's Oil Control Lotion on my eyelids after washing my face just to be extra prepared.) Hope this helps!
My Desert Island Mascara!
This mascara is hands down my favorite, along with its sister, In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara. I love the length and definition that it gives my lashes. I have been religiously wearing this everyday and am beyond IN LOVE with it! If you hate clumping mascaras, then this is THE ONE for you because this mascara has the BEST wand!
Best Primer Out There For Oily Skin!
MAC's Natural Radiance is targeted specifically for people with oily skin. It has oil controlling properties that help slow down the process. Natural Radiance also creates a barrier between the skin and the makeup, so the makeup attaches to the primer's smooth surface instead of skin, which reduces breakouts. Also, the primer keeps our natural oils from our face, from getting into our makeup. It is important to use a 190 Square Foundation Brush to apply any primer, so you achieve a smooth application.
Hands Down, My FAVORITE Foundation Brush for Liquid Foundation!
Because of the synthetic fibers, the brush allows you to stipple the perfect amount of foundation on the skin and the natural fibers, allow you to buff the product into place, leaving you a flawless finish. I prefer the 187 over the 188 for liquid foundation because, the lack of density in the brush allows for a more buildable coverage. This brush is also great for a subtle application of cream blush and powder. Very beautiful tool!
My Desert Island Concealer!
I wear shade NW25, not NW20. This concealer is amazing for under the eyes as well as for highlighting on the inner part of the face, if you are going to be on camera or taking pictures. This concealer covers dark circles, blemishes and sun spots and stays in place beautifully. I give it a 10 out of 10 if you like full coverage.
