Do not use this on your face!

The particles in St. Ives scrub are too thick to use on your face. Our faces have thinner, more delicate skin and when you rub St. Ives you are actually doing microscopic levels of damage to your skin. This damage will come back to haunt you in a not so microscopic way! I only use St. Ives on my legs before applying self tanner. It is ok on thick skin but on your face this is an absolute no-no!

*Edit - I do not have sensitive skin at all, just concerned about damage to my face.

Celeb City is AMAZING!

If you are looking for a VERY glittery, shiny silver polish look no further than Celeb City. The coverage is amazing with just one coat, and the wear is great. I love most Sally nail products but Celeb City is an absolute standout for me. Also, this entire line is relatively inexpensive and has great wear time. Over the summer Walgreens is running a 2/$4 special which makes these polishes a great deal!

Easily Blendable

I have a handful of MAC eyeshadows. My favorites are Carbon (Matte Black) and Star Violet (Darker purple gold than is shown above). The violet can be used to create a smokey daytime look just by layering and blending the shadow and even using a wet eyeliner brush to line the lids. When I travel I bring my 2 favorite MAC shadows with me because I can create a multitude of looks just by blending and shading one color. Some of their colors are not as consistently pigmented and don't provide a lot of payoff, but when you find a winner, it can be a real HG product!

Highly Pigmented

The great thing about MAC blushes is the deep pigmentation. You can decide how subtle you want to be with your blush, but you do have to be careful not to over apply and end up looking clownish! One major issue I found with MAC blushes is the wear length. The color just doesn't last for the duration of my work day. I would think that using a cream blush underneath would extend the life of my blush, but I haven't tried that because I don't have a cream blush that is a good match to my MAC powder blush. I found better staying power with NARS and even Rimmel products.

Very Even

Essie polishes go on smooth and even. Most shades give great coverage after one or 2 coats. I also love that they're so accessible, I can find them at Walgreens! The brush isn't too wide so the polish doesn't run into the nail bed. Overall, if you haven't tried Essie yet, go for it! They make salon quality polish!

One of my HG products!

I have never found a concealer that works better. I have extremely dark circles and Boi-ing does the best job of all the concealers I have ever used. I find it to be pretty heavy, and it can crease a little if it isn't dusted with some powder to set it. Still, for me, this is the only product I have tried that truly conceals my dark circles.
