Can glycerin be used as a daily face moisturizer? any one of you tried it? P.s- I have dry acne prone skin. Please advise!!

No it's a humectant. If there is no moisture in the air it will dry you up. You can add some to your moisturizer if you'd like. Try hyaluronic acid which is 1000 times its weight in water for moisturizing.

I like glycerin as an additive to my skin care. For example, I add it to witch hazel to make a toner, or I might add a drop to my moisturizer to give it a boost, but it should not be used alone. Have any of you tried making the DIY setting spray with glycerin? I've seen a few recipes & wanted to try it but, it seems like a lot of work.

I made one, and I ended up using Aloe Vera since they are both similar! It's one of my favorite DIYs
