MaKenzie, the Strobe Cream is great because it hydrates and soothes, while giving a luminous glow without looking sparkly or fake. You can mix it with foundation or apply it prior to (or even after) foundation. I'm not a big MAC fan, but I just cannot express how much I enjoy the cream. I got a little tube and you need so little that I'm sure it will last me. I hope you enjoy it!!  :)
