So, today was determination day, to discover a under eye concealer.
I tried, Chanel, shiseido, Mac, smashbox, inglot, nars, Elie saab, Estee Lauder and cargo.
My face has had it for the day!

Which was your favorite? Two weeks ago I had a foundation determination day and those are awful because it's so hard on my face and they keep putting it on..taking it off...find a primer that works with the foundation or my skin...ugh. I only tried only ones I hadn't before: Estee Lauder Double Wear Light, Dior Nude, Hourglass, Sephora brand and Kat Von D.
I ended up getting a sample of the double wear and buying the Dior Nude, but now...I may return it. I have skin that runs dry and is sensitive and they keep steering me towards mattes when I want something with more of a satin finish. I love the feel of the Dior Nude and it is a perfect color match, but yesterday I realized I was adding more products to give it the finish I want and treat my red areas. I dislike layering on so many products.
Now, I feel like I should just return my purchase and keep searching, but my skin is just not up for another day of abuse. *This is why I had to give up my modeling career. :"(
The Dior concealer is pretty badass, but I'm not sure if I even need or want it.
I'm so frustrated right now. *Sigh*

Eye cream will help with the concealer if you aren't already using one. The concealer will adhere better...concealer works best when undereye area is hydrated.
Hmmm...determination day. I always have several of those. Usually it involves looking for a particular lip color. And that's where I get in trouble...I end up buying all the contenders. So its not uncommon for me to come home with various shades/textures of coral or nude lippies.

I have had to stop buying lip colours. Like, stop cold turkey, I'm an addict with lip colours.
The greatest revelation I got out of all of it, apart for the inglot eye concealer, I will have to use a colour corrector. Absolutely none of the concealers were my colour.
The nars, Elie saab, Chanel and shiseido were too sheer and didn't do much in the concealing but did brighten the area. I liked the feel of the Estee Lauder but, again not a perfect fit.
Mac did the job but it was evident that I had undereye makeup if that makes sense.
Smashbox and cargo I got a sample and I'll see how I go.
I forgot to mention I also tried bobbi brown, loved the colour however even with the powder went straight into the creases.
So last one of the day was inglot, unbelievable. Perfect colour, no seeping, amazing lightweight coverage. And, I think it's the cheapest!

Rozberry I don't think I've tried Dior, I might have to give that a go.
And Shelley, don't worry, the fear of looking old guarantees that I am wearing eye cream

If I do a semi reasonable job with the smashbox and cargo concealers I'll post them n see what you think :)

I would recommend trying it cosmetics bye bye under eye corrector. I like it better then the bobbi brown corrector because you get way mor product and it covers my dark circles better. And I agree with Shelley a hydratying eye cream makes a huge difference!

My holy grail undereye is Perfekt Eye Perfection Gel in the lightest shade. It never creases and depuffs...soothes. It's sort of amazing. I use it with Mally's Perfect Prep undereye brightener lately and I love the results. I think I have the perfect products, but what I need to study is correct application. Perfekt is such an amazing line. Hmm..I wonder if they make foundation.
