I know there's a million & one post about brushes everyday.
Buuut, since real techniques are buy one get one half I want to order the core collection & starter kit.
Has anybody tried these who also has tried Eco tools?
Because although I don't mind the larger ecotools brushes. I'm not impressed by the smaller ones.
They just seem super hard to me.
So I'm wondering if the real techniques are better quality.

Which brushes do you use?? I hate spending a lot on brushes. Just cuz I would rather buy makeup. Lol. But my favorite brush brand only comes out once a year. :( so I need something new in the meantime.

If you don't mind me asking , where do they have this deal for real technique brushes? I've not tried Eco tools but I do like real technique brushes

Real techniques are not all that great. Some are good but some are not. I have the starter kit. The liner brush is totally useless. They aren't really that soft either.
I think you should consider Sonia Kashuk or coastal scents. Better bang for your buck. I got a set of 12 costal scents (very lovely) brushes for $17!

@Jacqlyn thank you for the detailed input!! I don't even know the specific names of the brushes. All I know is the Eco tools concealer and shadow brush were extremely stiff. : / but I might have to try the blush brush!
@Meckael Ulta. :)

They do look pretty dense. Maybe I will try them since they're on sale. But I won't purchase too many! I'd hate to regret it. Lol.

@Symone & Olivia! I might just do that. I've REALLY been wanting costal scents I just need to be patient and ask my wife extra sweet lol.

I have the RT expert face brush, stippling brush, under eye setting brush and the core collection. I love them all, really soft and always work really well for me. I also picked up a few Eco tools double ended eye brushes the other day as I had some boots points to use up. Not overly impressed with them, however I also bought their concealer brush, it's like a dense stiff blending brush, it's my go to brush for under the eye now.

I love my RT brushes. There are a few that I don't love but I still find uses for them. Like the pointed foundation brush is pretty small so I wouldn't use it for foundation but it's good for concealer, and recently I've been using it to apply my charcoal mask from Origins. It gives a more precise application so I don't get it all in my hair and whatnot. And it feels like I'm getting a professional facial haha. Overall I love all the brushes I have from them, I've had a majority of mine for a year at least now and they are still in great shape and always give me a great finish. I think they're quite versatile, you can use many of them for things other than their "intended" use. They're pretty affordable too so that makes them even better to me.

I love all of the face brushes from real techniques. Some eye brushes are useless and impractical due to size.

Like real techniques but LOVE sigma. Not too expensive if you only get what you actually need.
