Mattifying foundations or powders just didnt work for me. maybe I need to change something about my moisturizer any suggestions for the best mattifying day cream that I can apply before makeup?

I use thanks and use a translucent powder over it and work great for me.

I personally really like the Aveeno Positively Radiant moisturizer. It's oil-free, so I don't find it causes shine. I also highly recommend the Covergirl TruMagic mattifier. It's absolutely amazing. It kept me matte (seriously, not even sweaty) for 5 hours of line dancing. It's absolutely fantastic and requires no reapplication. I highly, highly recommend that you check out this product.
