I'm thinking about getting the MAC Studio Fix Foundation and I was wondering if anyone has tried it. I have extremely oily skin and I heard that it'd be a good foundation to use with that issue. Opinions please? Thanks!

Renay, I actually never heard of that kind, haha. And Jacklyn, isn't Clinique like crazy expensive? I'm somewhat on a budget, lol.

The studio fix is good for people with oily skin :) also smooth and great coverage but the lightest shade was still too dark for me.

I've been using studio fix since highschool. I don't wear it daily because it is full coverage but its never broken me out. Just make sure you wash it off with some type of cleanser. It can oxidize slightly on some people so get color matched. I wear nc30

Well its full coverage, MAC does carry lighter foundations. But no just make sure its blended and you'll be fine (:

You can also make it thiner by mixing your moisturizer with it.

I use the studio fix with the 187 duo fibre brush it does apply thick. I have noticed I would break out here & there while using it but it does cover oily spots!

Broke me out...bad. I would compare it with another foundation that isn't from MAC just so you have a comparison. Its a pretty heavy formula...they have a lighter one. I do agree with trying out Clinique...at least get a sample. Clinique has a formula that helps with oily control and it won't break the bank.

I love itttt...only downside I don't like is that I have normal skin fairly dry but with the studio fix it makes my t zone extremely oily. I don't have that problem with another foundation and I do use powder and a setting spray after every foundation application. So that's the only downside I have other than that I love the coverage and all about this foundation

I've been using it for a few years and it never broke me out and it keeps my skin matte without making it look cakey. I love it and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.(:

I just bought it last week! My skin is fairly oil, I wouldn't say it controls it and you will need a setting powder.
