I'm guessing foundation, but is bb cream more of a tinted moisturizer?

Foundation

Yes, foundation will cover more. BB cream, especially American BB creams, are more tinted moisturizers than anything else. Most that I've tried don't even deserve that title.

Bb cream does more than a tinted moisturizer. Foundation I think works better to cover acne.

Thanks everyone! I'm 13 so I'm not sure I want to wear foundation, but I have some acne that I really want to cover.

Usually foundation has more coverage. I do have a BB cream from Skin79 that has A LOT of coverage like my Estée Lauder foundation. It's called Skin79 intense classic balm :)

Thanks ladies! Any good drugstore foundations(or bb creams. Still open to it if it works!)?

I absolutely love IT cosmetics CC cream (it's not drugstore) but I love it. It seriously gives medium build able to full coverage! And it doesn't not feel heavy or cakey. I am dealing with acne right now and a lot of scars. I wanted to stop wearing the heavy foundations and now all I've been wearing on my face is that CC cream and it's perfect. :)

Try doing the cc or bb cream all over face and then use a concealer to dot cover up the problem areas...acne, scares redness. I do agree woth the tarte cc cream it is amazing and makes skin feel like silk, also makes all other makeup.go on flawlessly

I absolutely agree with Hannah. American BBs are crap most of the time. If you ask me it's a marketing scheme. I have sampled a couple and the only one I've liked is the one from Flower (Walmart has it exclusively). Although it isn't really even a tinted moisturizer or a Bb cream because I'm fairly sure it doesn't moisturize at all and it doesn't have SPF. But it has a nice consistency and covers really well. It's like a foundation but not? lol. It dries down and doesn't budge though. I'd recommend taking a damp sponge over it though, it can sort of stick in spots because the consistency is quite dry. But once it's all blended it stays really well. The only other issue might be finding a shade, most Bb creams don't have much of a selection :/ unless they've expanded their range since I bought mine (it was at least a year ago.) they only offer 3 shades.
