Deep clean once a month. after each use I use either a brush cleaner spray or alcohol in a spray bottle.

Do you find that the alcohol ruins your makeup? I really need to clean my palettes and powder products, etc. but I am super worried about ruining them.

I usually wash my liquid product brushes every couple days with Dawn dish soap and olive oil...if I don't clean them frequently they get gunky and make my makeup look like crud. As for my powder product brushes, I usually wash them with the same formula once a week.

I clean them with a combo of baby shampoo and natural dish soap once a week. I have this thing called a brush tree that let's you hang them upside down to dry. I wash them way more now that I have it cause it takes way less time

I pretty much do the same as Bailey. I've got acne so I don't want to have too much product or bacteria in my brushes.
