I'd like to know some tips too :/ the only thing I do is pick off any excess glue with a tweezers (super carefully of course)

I've heard you pick the excess glue off and then soak it in makeup remover and then take a q-tip and wipe off the makeup and stuff after you soak it

If you have mascara on them you can use a makeup remover soaked q-tip and rub the mascara off that way. And the same with the glue. That's the best way I found to do it :)

Be careful soaking them because sometimes the lashes get all warped and uncurled if left in liquid too long. I take mine and peel off the glue, then put it in the palm of my hand and put a small amount of water on top and just lightly rub away the mascara, then I leave them to dry.
