I have heard it recommended on here for oily skin, I have yet to find a primer that works for my combination skin and have been thinking of trying this.

It can be used, however it is not any good for your skin. The PH of Milk of Magnesia is made for your stomach, and is far too high for your face. I recommend investing in a good primer instead. Neutrogena Anti-shine primer is great for oily skin. Use a setting powder ( Rimmel stay matte is raved on Beautylish. ) and even a Matte setting spray if you'd like.

Milk of magnesia does work. Yes but as Kitty said, it's not the best for the skin. I wore it a couple month straight and my skin built up resistance to it. I would get shiny regardless on my nose when I never had any shine before with it. So no, go with an actual primer. I have yet to find one for my oily skin so I'm no help 😩
