When you wash your face use warm water to open up your pores and let the acne fighting wash get in. then rinse with cold water. This will close your pores:)

This is just congestion a from your make up and gentle exfoliation around the problem area will relieve the area of bacteria, use a exfoliant with polyethylene beads ( smooth beads) this wont scratch your skin. Use a mineral make up as well as these don't contain talc and provide a layer on the skin, not clog the pores, if the blackheads are severe and arnt gone after the exfoliation add some steam to your face before/ during exfoliation or get an extraction this is pain free

I do recommend thalgo, any of there exfoliants are great that is what I use, it's rather expensive but it's much worth it, try going into your local super market or drug stores and have a glance on the back of the tubes of exfoliant they should have them displayed on the back.

Sometimes if I have blackheads in hard spots I use a Bobbi pin (the ones like u's for buns) and put pressure . DO NOT SCRAPE IT ON YOUR SKIN!!!! Normally it will "pop" with a little pressure then use your face wash and clean your face well.(wash your hands before you do thus so oils on your hands dons get back in your pores)

Walmart sells a clear cucumber mask for $2 and it works great. I also use an extractor tool. Remember to wash your hands, and if you buy the extractor sanitize it. you can buy that at Walmart too.

I too have blackheads around the nose area. I've tried exfoliants, scrubs and masks. The only thing that works was biore strips. I use them once a month and that keeps my blackheads from returning

I know this may sound weird, foot scrub. It exfoliates better because it's a lot more rough. I'd suggest using it every other day.

I also get a lot of blackheads around my nose and have that bumpy look when I apply foundation. I usually use the BIore pore strips which help but then I found this face mask called mint julep masque from Sally's, works soooo good!! It's helped so much. I use it about 2 to 3 times a week and use the nose strips once a month.

All of you are suggesting about your nose, for whatever reason I get blackheads along the edge of my lip and I've popped them before, but it hurts a whooollleeee lot. Would the strips(as suggested above) work for that also? Or any specific suggestions for that?
