Hello!
Just wondering, which is better to use? A white, translucent powder like the makeup forever one or a pressed powder that matches your skin tone?
Thanks. :)

Pressed!! Don't even think of getting translucent :D. 1. Translucent powder could cost you cancer because you breath it while applying.

Colored can make your foundation look darker so I say translucent.

I like translucent better but I do warn you that some HD powders include silica which, when applied with a heavy hand, can cause a white cast on the face when taking photos with flash. So be careful girly! 😜

I prefer a yellow toned pressed. It offsets redness but blends into my skintone without fear of chalkiness or flash back.

Translucent is way better! But use a good one that lasts long! Colored powder is tricky , it could sometimes make your makeup look way darker

If you choose a colored powder, aways get one a 1/2 shade to 1 shade lighter because it will probably darken it.

Doesn't most translucent powders these days contain silica & not talc? I've heard of the dangers of talc but not silica.

I think Colourec powder is more on the safe side but translucent CAN be better most of the time and doesn't make you look cakey or like a ghost.

I like using a pressed powder same as my skin colour, I feel it gives my skin a nicer look :)

Wow! Huge response. I'm glad the cancer thing was cleared up because I know a lot of my friends use translucent powders. I think I'll try both and maybe a coloured loose powder too. Thanks you everyone! You've been a great help. :D.
