So I got this foundation and it is a tiny bit darker then my skin tone but it was so expensive I can't afford to go out and get another one. It's also the lightest shade there is and it looks really good I Just don't want to look bad with it on.

Get a white base foundation to mix it with.

Maybe try it on on a day that you are not going to leave the house.

Maybe just use it in the summer when you're tan?
Or mix it with a moisturizer :)

Even opened, most stores will permit a return with a receipt. Some stores allow an exchange for another product or issue store credit...even sans receipt. I'd advise against mixing it with another brand because you'll alter the formula that you seem so fond of. That's just my personal tastes, however. I'm big on returns and exchanges since cosmetics are costly. You deserve the best product for the money.

If you bought it from sephora or most counters, they'll gladly change the shade for you.

Thanks to everyone! I unfortunately don't have a receipt but a lighter powder and mixing has made it so much nicer
