If ever I do my brows, I use a very dark brown eyeshadow from my BH Cosmetics 120 palette. It works well, no fallout, looks super natural.

I love the elf brow kit atm. but also went through a pencil phase. it's what you find easier. I personally don't like the dryness of a powder. x

Milani has a cool pen-it looks almost like a felt tip eyeliner and it helps give a really great natural look that you can build up and it stays on all day :)

I have been using colors from the Meet Matte palette by The Balm for so long. it gives me such a natural ashy look. Then again I could use almost any bronzer like NYC sunny to fill in my brows because my hair is sooooooooo dark.

When I'm looking for a fool proof brow I use Mallys Brow Souffle I think is the name. Works like a charm and the color is just ashy enough for me.
