Okay so I'm just wanting to know what you all think about it. I was thinking of going to a cosmetology school One day. I don't know much about it so give me some info on beauty school. What's your likes and dislikes about it? Does it bring in good pay? Hard work? How Long before you get a beauty license? What do you learn to do? Thanks :-)

Well all schools are different, for what you learn and how long before you get your beauty license, you need to do some research it will tell you right on the website. Does it bring in good pay? I also thinks this depends on where you go as well and how good you are. It depends where you live and if there's a high demand for cosmetology. It also depends what you want to do with your license, work in a beauty store? become a freelance makeup artist? Will you do both hair and makeup?
I suggest doing a lot more research online

My Sister N Law Went To Cosmetology School & Loved It! She Does My Hair Allllll The Time! I Feel Like Its Worth It Not Only Because Its The Career You Want To Pursue But Also Because You Learn So Many Awesome Things That You May Not Know Otherwise. She Has Told Me Soo Many Things Shes Learned About & How Much Fun It Was. So I Think Its Worth It 👌

A lot of your questions depend on certain things. As far as pay goes, it just depends on what career path you choose to go with and how much effort you're willing to put in. With your cosmetology license, you are certified to work in either hair, skin, or nails. So whichever you decide to go with, it's going to require a lot from you, if you're wanting to make a good amount of money. However, if you're worried about money, I'd look elsewhere. You need to have a strong passion and desire for this field to go far. Is it hard work? Absolutely. But it's worth it. So many people think cosmetology students are brainless and that it takes nothing in order to graduate..they have no idea. Not only can it be stressful if you don't understand something right away, but it's very mentally demanding as well. You'll have tons of bookwork and such during your time there. But like I said, it's enjoyable hard work haha. How long until you're licensed depends on what state you're in, and how many hours you can take at a time. The amount of hours required to take your state board exam varies from state to state. And as far as what you learn, you will cover a variety of topics. Anything that deals with hair, skin, or nails, you will learn about. My comment is long enough, so I won't go on and on about my likes and dislikes, but I will say that I in no way regret going to school for cosmetology. I've had my license for almost a year now, and it has been one of the best things that has happened to me. It really can open so many doors for you and is totally worth everything, as long as it's something you 100% want to do. :) I hope I helped!

I go to Cosmetology school and everyone thinks it is so easy but it is very HARD WORK!! It is not just hair and nails! You have to learn all ypur state laws and also a basic understanding of anatomy and physicology. I know right! Plus you will have to have a certain amount if hours before you are allowed to take your State Boards, like I have to have 1250 hours to get my lisence. You also dedicated and not slack off. Go for it if you are dedicated to it! Sorry this so long!! ☺️
