I really want to try their foundation out but I'm so confused.
I'm fair skinned and cool toned BUT I HATE pink foundation more then anything, should I just go for a warm foundation? or do they have any in between ones?
also the nw and nc on the bottles is that for not cool and not warm? neutral? I'm so lost?

Mac cool is actually warm and vice versa. Get nw, it's basically a neutral

NC is more for warm toned skin while NW is more for cool toned skin. I would purchase a liquid foundation is NW then get the Mineralize Skinfinish powder as they're neutral and it will help to neutralize the pink tone a little. It doesn't have to be the mineralize skin finish natural but you could also try the NW foundation and on top use an NC powder which would help too, I think this combo works better

If you have more yellowish tones to your skin get NC , if not try NW. There have all kinds of different shades , like let's say NC can have ones with a more or less yellowish tone to it? Do you understand now? Don't get a foundation that is not your tone it will simply not look quiet right. You NEED to go get color matched , that is the best way to find out exactly which one you need. And it's the best way to see if you like any of there foundations.

Ben, I got a headache after reading the first few. I'm like. nc?. nw?. I just wear what matches. lol. I'm confused.
seriously tho. I do actually have both nc and nw foundations by Mac all are the mineralized. n they all matched me at some point over the last couple years. ;-)
just put some on. walk around the mall and see how it fades. Mac oxidizes like crazy so you know to plan for that.

All kidding aside, it's been an informative thread! I'm taking notes cuz when I move back to Jersey I'll have to bring my A game. I don't want to look like I've lived in the sticks for the past decade (which I have).
