Ok so I am going to buy a bucket of bleach and a bunch of 30 developer and some purple shampoo because I'm going to bleach out this red soon!! Yay! So how many times would it take to bleach my red out? And I kinda want to do the ends and length of my hair first before doing my roots because they develops the quickest so any tips? (I can't afford a pro) and then after I bleach it out I am going to dye my hair a pastel blue but darker than a pale blue if that makes sense but how long does blue stay in your hair or does it fade as fast as red? And what are the upkeep a to blue hair?

Hey girl! I just got rid of my red hair too and it took me two bleaches, after the first bleach I still had parts that had held the red better around the roots so they were a pink colour so they needed to be bleached again but after that depending on the shade of yellow you should be able to use the toning shampoo, my only recommendation with toning shampoo is put it on dry hair and everywhere on your head for about half an hour/ an hour if you really want the yellow tones to come out, it might look lilac when you wash it out but after another wash it should be a whiter shade of blonde. As for blue hairdye I'm not sure about the fading but I have pastel lilac hair at the moment and it is a lot of upkeep and needs touch up every week, sometimes twice a week! If the blue shade you're using is going to be pastel or a shade of pastel it will fade quite quickly but if you use a drop of blue dye in a white conditioner and do that whenever you notice it fading you shouldn't have a problem :)
