Its 5.5 percent Benzoyl Peroxide, so it would be a strong acne treatment, I suggest you do a patch test cuz my skin reacted violently to 5 percent Benzoyl peroxide.

I think the product itself would work well as a spot treatment on acne, but I would not use it all over the face. Benzoyl Peroxide is really harsh, but I find it's the only thing that works on my acne. Make sure to follow up with a good moistruizer after the treatment.

Actually it's very gentle and recommend by dermatologist and it's not just benzoyl peroxide it's glycolic,salicylic an benzoyl peroxide so it works on a lot of different levels,It clears the dead skin cells,deep cleans the pore walls as well as kill bacteria
