I'm getting my eyebrows waxed for prom. People keep saying to do it the day before but I don't get my paycheck until the morning of prom. Is it ok for me to fill in my eyebrows 2 hours after getting it waxed?

Some people experience redness or a temporary light "burn" or a little bit of bumpiness..depending on their sensitivity. You can request an aloe wax be used. Get it done as early in the morning as possible..making the apt. ahead of time if you have no choice but to wax that day. I pay $6 for mine. I'm not sure how much you are paying, but if you have a rainy day coin jar (I do..lol) now may be the time to dip into it and wax 2 days ahead of time. Hope you have fun. :)

I would assume so give it an. You don't get open cuts while being waxed but letting your brows adjust is a good idea! You should schedule that first thing first.

Roxbury that's what I'm thinking. Prom is not the best time to be "experimenting" lol. I'm just going to get my eyebrows shaped and my lashes done then add a little makeup.

I personally think you should be fine. Unless the person waxing you is aggressive you won't have any open cuts or burns. So give your eyebrows an hour to adjust and then you should be good to go :)

I would do it as early as possible. Its up to you! I've seen people who can put makeup on right after and they are fine but some people the makeup just literally will not stick to the skin no matter what, so be careful.

If this is your first time waxing I would not recommend you waxing your brows the day of. At least do it a week before so you have time to let the skin heal from any irritation or bumps. Also just after waxing, makeup does not usually go on the skin around the brows correctly and it looks like you missed putting on foundation in big spots around your brows. This is just my experience
