Can someone help me, I have oily skin and I literally can not find a foundation that suits me, I'm starting to get fed up with buying and trying new ones, if you have oily skin please let me know what foundation you use and the best way to apply 😘

Try Revlon Colorstay!! It lasts all day long and never makes me look oily. even through long dance days when I'm sweating all day it doesn't budge or get shiny:)

Is it a hydrating primer, or..? hydrating primers aren't the best for oily skin & I think smash box has a hydrating primer but I'm not 100% sure

The most well known and raved about foundations for oily skin are probably like what Kyra said with the KVD Lock it Tattoo, MUFE Matte Velvet+, and the Estee Lauder Double Wear. I also would suggest trying a new primer. The Smashbox primers are not my favorite for oily skin and I find they can make skin look greasier. A great primer for oily skin is the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. It actually absorbs excess oil to keep foundation on forever and look flawless.

If your using Smash Box Photo Finish primer and your Oily then that could be the problem that stuff claims to be ideal for oily,acne prone skin but it just does the opposite for some and I was one of them and when mixing Oils up with just a powder that too can create a gunk oil mess on the skin (cake) makeup.I wouldn't be so hard on yourself on this makeup venture we all go through it even as frustrating as it is but that is why you have to find the right products yourself,we merely can suggest and help but you have to be able to read all products and willing to try them out. Now if you want a straight out MATTE Primer I would suggest Sephora collection Anti-Shine foundation primer,this stuff indeed does what it says.

The foundations are great suggestions from the ladies but will not do any good if you don't get to the core of the oils first. I also think Hourglass is great but for super Matte plain out Full Max matte with No extras would be the Sephora collection one.

I use max factors 3 in 1 foundation and it works wonders on me! I've worn it for up to 9-10 hours and I wasn't oily or patchy at all:)

I have super oily skin and two foundations that I would highly reccomend is covergirl 3in1 and dream matte mousse by maybelline. I would also suggest to apply liquid foundation with a blender or brush, because ever since I started using a beauty blender it has made a huge difference.
