This is my second belly piercing I've had. The first one got soooo nasty I had to take it out. This time it's better but it's been 8weeks and there are days where clear liquid come out and there is a puffy spot on the top part..Can anyone relate to this or know what's going on? Is it normal? What should it do?

Chances are you may be allergic to metals only in that area of your body. I had many things pierced and they never got infected but I've had my ear lobes pierced twice and both times they rejected every kind of earring I put in it.

You could either be allergic to the metal or it could just be scar tissue. I would suggest soaking it in sea salt and warm water and going back to your piercer

Try soaking it in warm water and sea salt to help heal it..that's what I do with mine..leave the piercing in and I just use a shot glass filled half way with warm salt water and soak it for 15-20 mins everyday.. The piecing itself can take up to a year to fully heal

Ooh your body maybe just can't take it I mean is rejecting it :/ but the piercing takes very long to heal and maybe is that, like the others girls said ^ soaking it in warm water with sea salt might help :), hope everything gets better :)

I had gotten a bump on my and I was also scared. My friends mom told me to take a sterilized safety pin and pop the bump. Now my belly button piercing is healed!

I think your body might be rejecting it :( I've had my belly pierced for almost 3 years and it's never looked like that. I would take it out if I were you!

If your body is rejecting it DONT take it out let your body reject it or all the puss and germs well be inside your hole and you will get a bigger infection! DONT I mean DONT take it out!

Noo that happened to me , and some of my friends. It's just the healing process. Mine got really bad but it went away and a little bit later it was all the way healed. Different bodies heal in different way. Do NOT take it out.

Definitely take it out it doesn't look good at all it maybe try a different kind of metal or try the bendable ones. Hopefully you won't need to take it out. You could also call your piercer and have them take a look and go from there. Looks super painful.

See your piercer, and if they don't have any recommendations, see a doctor. Do not remove the jewelry if it is infected, this can allow the piercing to close around the infection and result in an abscess. Clean it gently with warm saline and avoid touching it too much.
