Daily facial cleaning ritual with a skin care range suited for you skin type and condition, Thalgo is the best I've found we are currently using this in college at the moment, try Purity for Oily/Combination skin range this will relieve the congestion on the skin and regulate your sebum(oil) production. Avoid harsh products and exfoliants for your skin, you don't want to aggravate the skin.

I just started using African black soap and its helped a lot. I got it for about $5 online, but I'm sure you can find it at health good stores.

You don't want to apply products with peroxide even a mild one, these products will dry out the oil glands which results in dry skin, which is harder to maintain

Facial twice a month.. I would suggest to cleanse face day and night. Use boots toner (target stores) and apply moisturizer...

I agree with Yesenia. Black soap is pretty amazing. Apple Cider Vinegar as a toner is so wonderful too. Natural is the way to go. :)

Go to the dermatologist. I had horrible acne and when I saw my doctor he prescribed creams and an oral pill to take and that really cleared it up! No amount of creams or face washes helped until I got prescribed medicine. After all my a be cleared up, to keep my face clear an healthy I use murad's clarifying cleanser and toner, boscia oil free SPF 15 lotion for daytime and ole henriksen vitamin plus cream for night time, along with my prescribed acne creams for breakouts here and there. Also, birth control does a really good job of controlling acne!

I wwnt to a dermatologist and nothing helped. I use burts bees acne wash to wash when I wake up, and before going to sleep. I also use say yes to tomatoes acne spot stick. For a toner, I mixed equal parts water and apple cider vinegar. I apply it with a cotton ball. I wash my face, use the apple cider vinegar toner, then use the say yes to tomatoes. Good luck.

When all else fails look into Rodan and fields acne line. Their acne washes main ingredient is sulfur amazing stuff! And the moisturizer has benzoyl peroxide works wonders. I've tried it all! From drug store to Chanel this is the only thing that works. No matter what product you choose, with severe acne issues you must give it at least three weeks to know if it works and agrees with your skin

From my own experience, for acne or blemishes... leaving them alone, warm compresses, and patience, I would think it might be helpful. Also, a good OTC treatment system can do wonders if you find the right one for your skin type. See some good reviews and comparisons on them @ http://dermahealthreview.com/blog

Every spot treatment I have tried did nothing for me, So now I use aloe vera gel, I even refilled a clean and clear popped pimple relief stick with it so I can use it wherever

I've struggled with acne really bad for the last few years. It's starting to clear now. I just use a gentle wash, a toner WITHOUT alcohol, a 2% salicylic acid cream, and a 5% benzoyl peroxide cream every night. The benzoyl peroxide can really dry skin out so I use Aquaphor ointment at night (it feels kinda greasy and gross but it helped me). The Paula's Choice site has some good general information about acne as well as product info/reviews from all different brands. Definitely worth checking out!

If it's really bad and the over the counter stuff hasn't been working go to a dr. You might have to try a few combinations of medicines before you find one that works. Antibiotics didn't do much for me. Retin-A and b.c. pills together cleared it up. Differin gel does too, now that I'm older.

Ok when a doctor tells u to try something it take a month for results and u got to be consistent. I should no iv been taking acne pills for years with a face routine. Give any thing you try a month. And if it haves sacilyc acid over 2% don't use it's bad for ur skin. And never use a face wash with gret/exfoliate ever day at the most 2x a week other wise ur just drying out and irratating your skin. And never use tooth past on ur face ill make u break out more. Also try to do a Freeman's feel beautiful face make any one of them but the chocolate and strawberry. You can get them at any store there really cheep.
