My tip is to use a cleanser and skip water afterwards n use a toner instead . You get a lot of moisture just after cleaning the face and use a serum and a good face protector like hemp face protector from the body shop. The other thing if you have dry skin only use a gentle facescrub once a week because dry skin is more sensitive .

exfoliate once a week. Then after cleansing, use a toner and right after use your moisturizer. What I like to use to put more hydration into my skin is I know might sound gross, I put Yogurt. IT HELPS!

Witch hazel is the best toner I've ever used. It's natural an doesn't dry out the skin anymore. And has so many benefits!

skip the exfoliating for a week or so and use a good rich moisturizer or night cream. try to find one without fragrance since you're sensitive. also maybe try a serum with hylauronic acid which helps bind moisture to the skin!

I have really dry skin too and I've been using Simple's Moisturising Face Wash, a Simple toner and Simple's Moisture Boost Hydro Cream. I reviewed the moisturiser here http://thesleepyjellyfish.blogspot.ie/2012/11/review-simple-moisture-boost-hydro-cream.html Once or twice a week I'll use Soap & Glory's The Greatest Scrub of All instead of the cleanser and toner. My skin's been really good since I started using these products, no dryness at all.

What type of moisturizer are you using? Don't use an oil free one. In fact I have dry skin and at night I apply a decent amount of almond oil and it makes your skin super soft. Also avoid moisturizers with alcohols or peroxides.

I have really dry skin too. I was my face with normal cleanser. I like the Cetaphil one and I also use an Aveeno one. I would recommend the Alba botanical moisturizer. It's all natural and is very light on the skin but also moisturizes very well. Highly recommend!

If your skin was dry to start with then all of sudden went red after products then your over doing it!
I would suggest .. vitamin e cleanse, a toner with rose flower & moisturise.
Using a facial oil will help :)
Maybe exfoliate once a week instead or not at all as the exfoliator could be causing the redness :)
hope this helps

When you have a shower try to have it as cold as possible as hot showers dry out your skin. Use moisturiser straight afterwards. Taking some fish oil and flaxseed oil tablets will also help. Make sure your moisturiser is fragrance free, as it will irritate your skin even further! Good luck xoxo

I got it from Boots, but I'm pretty sure you can get it from Ulta and possibly even Walmart! This is literally the only product that has worked with me, and I have been bouncing to every dermatologist for my whole life

Use a facewash for dry skin. Right now I'm usin aveeno calming cleanser and it's amazing. My skin is definitely more hydrated. After use a toner that won't dry your skin out; so one without any sort of alcohol. Mario badescu has a line of these. After that use a moisturizer an apply twice if needed. This is the only routine that has helped my extremely dry skin in the winter. Hope it helps !

Clease w/a cream cleaser, exfoliate twice a week & moisturizer w/ the right product for your skin. I love cellex sea silk moisturizer. It works without breaking you out. Don't forget to drink water too!
