I have hi lights on the underside of my hair and they are light blonde. The top of my hair is dark with some blonde pieces in my bangs. I was wondering how I would go about dying them a plum color? Should I just put it all over my hair since it's dark??

Yes dying the blonde pieces but I'm wondering if I can just put it all over my head cuz my hair is dark brown but I don't know if that would give it a purple tint or not.

Putting a plum color would tint your dark hair to a really dark purple.
I would section off the blonde bits and then dye them, or just go over your whole head if you don't mind if it's a purple tint.

Which one would you guys do? I kind of want to do it just all over even if it doesn't show up good on my dark hair. And what kind of dye would you recommend??

I would go with a veggie dye, like manic panic or special effects. They have beautiful purples, and that way you can let it fade till it's gone if you don't like it. My favorite is special effects "deep purple", it's gorgeous. :)
